i am quite busy with work mate .....i use d line and just play as it is its a plug and play ....o
Sorry to hear that work is getting the best of you , but i didn't understand. So you use D-LINE (offside trap;push higher - against BIG , and deep against weaker teams ) , and don't do any other changes right ?

Yes exactly ...

Hi Jessar
I admire your tactics. Thank you for sharing.
I have few questions and hope you answer.

-With England and Newcastle should I use any tactic to bring success? I'm using 14.2.1 Patch

- I found MIDFIELD MAESTRO tactics. But I do not know which strategy to use in 4 files attached:
4-4-1-1 Home (DR / DL set as Defend), 4-1-4-1 Away (DR / DL set as Defend) Home
Or 4-5-1 (DR / DL set as Attack), 4-1-4-1 Away (DR / DL set as Attack).

Thanks,

Hi Jassar

With the underdog tactic you say that you should play counter when facing an opponent with low chance of winning. At the same time, you should play a high defensive line with offside trap. How does a counter tactic go well with a high defensive line? Maybe I just don't get it.

Best,

Best,
No I chage the mentality to control when facing lower rep clubs at home
when I play away I play tactics as it is . You get the d line thing wrong . It's not high d line vs lower league clubs it's deeper ( refer post 1)

You should not complicate it . Play tactics as it is .

Thats it i give up on this game !!! Nothing seems to work with Lazio. I tried i.m. possible , bomb rock , and monster.... But its just not working with them !!! Last chance is underdog god , so... if that doesn't work = control panel add/remove programs !

I meant it the other way around. Higher defensive line (vs. clubs where you have a low chance of winning/higher league clubs) + playing counter. It's that combination I find contradictory. I mean it's hard to play counter-attacking football with a high defensive line.

With that being said I play control in most matches now both home and away in the Italian Serie C, since most odds are quite even in that league. I win almost every game atm. :)

counter is because u are the weaker team
high d line means u will stop their passing game and will eventually stop them form attacking you . If control working for u keep that up

I see. I will try and look into the differences.

Also, I've noticed that most goals my team concedes comes from corners or free kicks. I'm not quite sure what the problems is and I even focus on defensive set pieces in my training. It seems as if the marking is not good, but it might just be my players. My team also make a lot of free kicks right in front of my own penalty area, which the opposition tend to score on. I will try and look into these things too.

Jassar please help me with Lazio , i can't get anything form them with any tactic . Its getting even worst every single time i try a new tactic with them :(

Hello ladies and gentlemen,

A question to all of you that have or is testing the sunshine tactic, how is it performing? Anyone tested it on a lower ranked team?

ciao

So Tiki Taka doesnt work for 14.2.2? Has it been tested as is?

tiki taka and all the other tactics work on 14.2.2 ;)

i've tested sunshine with swansea and achieved pretty good results, i've send an "how to play" to jassar, by now he is busy, but he will post it soon ;)

THANKS to bomber 1 who is a friend that worked on SUNSHINE with me .

Here are some of the notes from him on HOW TO PLAY sunshine

How to play SUNSHINE:

Before start the match check the odds (use the "Importance of media prediction" section to calculate) then you have to adjust the tac on them like this:

From 10% to 26% -- set Fluidity to VERY RIGID
From 26% to 42% -- set Fluidity to RIGID
From 42% to 58% -- set Fluidity to BALANCED
From 58% to 74% -- set Fluidity to FLUID
From 74% to 90% -- set Fluidity to VERY FLUID

Match Training is related:

Very Rigid and Rigid -- set DEF.POSITIONING
Balanced -- set ATT.SET PIECES (home) or DEF.SET PIECES (away)
Very Fluid and Fluid -- set ATT.MOVEMENT

Now let's move to match day:

ALWAYS set your Trequartista to MAN MARK opposite DCR (always the DCR even in a 3-way defense) you can do this from 'Player instruction' section of 'Tactics' Menu.

ALWAYS set opposite wide players (FBs,WMs,Ws) to come infield: RIGHT players onto LEFT foot; LEFT players onto RIGHT foot. (ROLE INSTRUCTION)

you can set Striker(s) onto Weaker Foot.

you can set OPP.INSTRUCTION (i do and i'm getting really nice results) like this
sad.gif
PLAYER INSTRUCTION)

-Fast pacey players ( tight mark: Never ) in this way the defender will stay back avoiding to be burned in acceleration
-Slow strong players ( tight mark: Always ) defenders will stay close to him hoping to not let him reach the ball so easy
-Average players ( no specific instruction )

-Players with high passing skills (passing, creativity, first touch) (close down: Always) defenders will hassle him without conceding time to think
-Players with poor passing skills (close down: Never) leave him the space to play he is not a danger, better maintain an ordinate shape and keep the pressing for someone else
-Average players (no specific instruction)

-Players with high dribbling skills (tackle: Easy) is like "ease off tackles" he is able to dribble my defenders so i want my players stay on feet to recover
-Players with average dribbling skills (tackle: Normal)
-Players with poor dribbling skills (tackle: Hard) "dives into tackle" here i want my players to take him down in case he became dangerous, he is not able to dribble my defenders

before i start a match i always set this instruction to every player (even the reserves) you have to pay attention during the match:
-if the AMR changes to MR the player instruction will remain but the role instruction wont, so pause the game and set the MR on left or right foot. if he returns to AMR the old instructions will return as well (also FB to WB )
-if you are facing a 2 strikers formation and during the game they switch to 1, set to weaker foot the STC

final notes:
- OIs are set on the current tac (the one you start the game with) so if you switch tac during the match the OIs will disappear, if you return to original tac however they'll be there
- Keep in mind the level you're playing, the standard level in championship is different from premier league or league 1
- Look at the goals you're conceding and learn from them, if taking wide man infield is not working change it and see if works
- OIs are not only a defensive tool, they also help to recover the ball earlier, my advice is to use them always
