It's just not that d line instruction , you have to see how the opposition plays they change a lot in during match . So you have to keep an eye for that . And before a match your scout will present you the scoutin report of opposition . There you can see from the green numerical that weather they are scoring via long balls or passing short balls . So if they are playing and scoring through long balls than most probably they will play long balls so keep d line deeper
now if the scouting report says they score more goals from crossing than man mark their wingers with your wingers ( keep one thing in mind here mark their left with your right and vise Versa) and if they are scoring more via passing than keep d line high .

I do use def set pieces for any two matches per month and than def an attacking based on home /away and oppositionAny tip for training Jassar? I remember you said in the last patch you changed to always have def. set pieces match traning and general traning to defensiv/attacking. Do you still follow this in the new patch?
That you do only on the day of a match .its where you give individual talks to players before matchWhere do I choose my wingers to mark their winger? My only option is to mark the winger tight, but I can`t find where I choose that I want my winger to do that.

SO after looking at it i know they very rarely play long balls,as they haven't scored any goals by long balls.
OKAY
now we look at one line on top of it CROSSES
they havent scored any goals from crosses ,but have conceded 5 from crosses(so maybe i can play from flanks)
ONE line above ,,,,,now here i knwo they pass and score most of their goals (so i will play HIGH D LINE AS thats the best to stop opposition from passing the ball around)

After reading bluegunner's posts HERE, I started using BOMB away with Leeds (4th season in the EPL after finishing 8-5-3) because I wasn't so happy with my previous tactics. It's working pretty well, only lost vs. big teams (United & Chelsea in the EPL, Barcelona in the CL) and vs. Stoke & Reading away (don't know how). I think I've got something like 15P/9W/2D/4L, sitting 2nd behind Chelsea. Finished 2nd behind Barcelona but in front of AC Milan in the CL.
My starting 11 : Rulli - Digne, Papadopoulos, Kalas, Rose - Knockaert, Rabiot, Rodwell, Allione - Ongenda, Benzia.
Jassar, something to clear up. On your screenshot for MM 4.3 we can see that you use attacking mentality (asume that is home tactic) but in downloaded tactics both (home and away) mentality is control. Is it ok?
