It's just not that d line instruction , you have to see how the opposition plays they change a lot in during match . So you have to keep an eye for that . And before a match your scout will present you the scoutin report of opposition . There you can see from the green numerical that weather they are scoring via long balls or passing short balls . So if they are playing and scoring through long balls than most probably they will play long balls so keep d line deeper
now if the scouting report says they score more goals from crossing than man mark their wingers with your wingers ( keep one thing in mind here mark their left with your right and vise Versa) and if they are scoring more via passing than keep d line high .
