yes I am finding that too in my save , AI. Always make the defense of computer team more stronger and harder to crack with each patch .
 
And they still haven't fixed the heading bug even though it says they have in the patch notes. I have my wing backs crossing to Llorente and from jumping headers he'***** the crossbar over 10 times in the last 4 games - in most of those situations it would have been easier to score(free headers)

Not uploaded yet . As I was getting lot of PM for the re tweaks so I decided to keep that aside for few days and do this first . That is my best tactics so far in fm 14 . So will take my time to test it with lot of teams before I release
 
After 6 games with Spurs, 4 wins 2 draws. Despite the opposition doesn?t get many shots they get too many CCC.

Man City H 1-0 -> they had 4 CCC in 8 shots
Aston Villa A 2-2 -> 2 in 11
Chelsea H 4-2 -> 3 in 7
Sunderland A 3-1 -> 2 in 7
Swansea H 2-0 -> 1 in 3
Norwich A 2-2 -> 3 in 8

14 goals scored, 7 against

Long balls over my defense and no-one covering opp midfielders runs through middle are biggest problems I found. On other hand, offense has been pretty good with lots of shots, CCC.
 
Jassar, if you are planning on making new tactics, I'd suggest maybe a 3-5-2 formation for it. Using mine with Juventus, just beat Barca 1-0. We only had 45% possession, but Barca had only 2 shots on target, so defensively it's really solid. We didn't even get a single yellow card.

so far its ok . have some issues will fix that long ball over defenders soon after work . than the away version
still getting a odd goal every game , that's driving me crazy . AI out of no where comes and scores wheni am dominating the match completely . But will crack that too , need some more time

yea i cant understand why they write bugs fixed if they are not . So many shots i had just against the crossbar too

try different options with defensive line , maybe un tick the offside trap and i will look to improve that too once i am home

i will certainly look into it ... can u SS the formation u are refering too . it would be great to have one defending tactics . lower league clubs can use it more and than once we have the lead we can just switch into this formation to kill the game . nice idea

Jassar, you're home tactic is really working great for me right now. I've got only 1L in like 10 games, and it was an away game! But like you say I always get a goal or two really weird!

no i hate this, that they have the power to do and make certain tactics usless in the next patch and they with every patch make defense so much stronger that its sometimes looks a one way battle we are fighting

thats all part of AI , they dont want us to say game is too easy . They want us to have hunger to do even better every single day . Yea i dont like that odd goal at all .
 
which training settings do u prefer mate coz i want to give a try too :)
 
Same training as OP . And once season start I am trying now with teamwork in general and defending in match

This is the formation I'm using. Defensively it's really solid, I don't take many shots on my goal, and I don't get many cards either. CWBs, DM and CMs all are pressing more and DM and CMs also tackle harder, but I don't get many cards still. But due to the current match engine goals are really hard to score. There are games where I get 3-4 and games where I struggle to get a goal because the other defenders are tackling like they are on drugs.
