Which tactics and what struggle ...defense or offense
So u are not scoring or u are conceding more goals ? U are using too defensive training . Try to do match training as attacking for a while and general team cohesion than change back to defending . U can't use just one training all the time . Ur team will become lacking in other aspect of football in ur case if I am not wrong that's lack of goals . Training plays 30% part in ur team success . What I use to do when I first started playing fm was I will sit with a pen and a paper and will not all the training routines in all the threads and will than see what's the most commonly used and most successful training method .
I know that's what I was seeing and was mentioning too at the post . Don't worry I will go back to original tactics and will work something out. Can't say what u can change , try and see where team is lacking I will try to fix

Not a bad start to the season, scoring for fun and apart from a 6-2 thumping at the hands of Fleetwood we've been great. It's worrying the amount of CCC's I concede but somehow I still win so can't complain that much haha. No signings made, going for an academy challenge so will keep you posted
