btw. anyone tried this tactic at barcelona? messi must be great as cf or f9
 
What is the away tactic like with possession? Is the football being played interestingly or is it rather boring? One of your 4-4-2's last year were excellent. Plenty of goals both home and away and constantly 60 - 40 % home or away the majority of the time, and in the few matches where that did not happen vs the very best (away from home) still the team had plenty more shots on target.

If it's attacking and plenty of possession I will definitely be downloading it once I get the game.
 
Yes Messi very nearly did steal it off me, he's just too good lol! He'd be incredible in either the CF or false 9 role, he is Messi after all ;-)

i've always had a possesion of 50 or more (except against barcelona) & making a lot of shots, and that even with the away tac...

Wellplay burbut ! You play with final version or away final version ?
 
Loaded up a new united save with this.

Brought in El shaarawy and Alex Sandro and sold, Buttner, Young, Evra, Anderson, Macheda and Fletcher.

I arranged 10 friendlies, and smashed the first 9 by 5 goals or more in most cases. Somehow managed to lose 3-2 in the last friendly away against Metalist. (Not sure what that was about?!)
However, won my next game against Wigan in the community shield 2-1 despite having a player sent off.

Things are looking good with this tactic. Hopefully it holds up.

Was just wondering if anyone was noticing the amount of long shots with the tactic though? Is it more effective changing the players to have the "shoot less often" instruction?

yes i know the players have a lot of long shots . the team ( newcastle i am playing now is doing good with long shots ,lot of goals for me ) but if u dont like it ,just tick shoot less often. that should work for u
and that once a while loss is just coincident . match engine is acting up a little strange sometimes . be patient (hopefully it will stabilize). try to do the counter after 70 min if winning

I think that Monaco has again same problem that with all Fm since 2010.

i am now almost 5 games into season and have made all my deriered transfers .
once i release it u guys can test it .

I have tested it with LYON , and it worked wonderful.
 
i tried to make some changes to your away tactic - and it really looks goalscoaring until now:

- changed cf role to poacher
- changed f9 role to trequarista
- told them to shoot as much as they can

results so far: 6-0 vs. everton, 5-1 vs. tottenham & 3-0 against chelsea

test it more and if it really looks promising i will love to upload it as a tweak from you if you want .
