I've had no issue with the tactic/football my team(s) has played pre and post this patch? weird... still hitting the woodwork twice a game though on average, i've 6 teams playing 4 diff formations in my game..

ive started second season with everton got battered 6-2 by swansea, so im annoyed and going to start a new save in the championship with my home town team doncaster, i will keep you posted :)

Was going well on my new save the BOOM cant win away from home for the life of me tried everything d-line tweaks the lot just, just drawing all the time or winning then conceding from corner late on

Guys on SI forums are saying too many team instructions and player instructions are not working on this patch 14.2
When they went back too much more simplicity, results were great. Maybe it's the key

"A question to people who are having problems since 14.2.

With whatever tactic you're using, how many team instructions and individual player instructions do you have?

The reason I ask is that prior to 14.2 I had lots, to compensate for IMO, quirks with the ME.

Since 14.2, I start games usually with Control, sometimes Standard. I don't start with ANY specific team instructions at all. I just use them when confronted with specific situations e.g. a common one is if the AI presses high up the pitch, putting pressure on my back line, I use "pass into space" and cut them to shreds!

My player instructions are very minimal. My keeper is set to short passing / distribute to defenders. My AF to hold the ball (not actually sure its always necessary but hey I'm winning) and if I play Rooney (usually at IF-S or behind the striker), he's set to dribble less and shoot more (cos he's slow and can't go past people). But that's it, very minimal.

Just putting this out there as I'm wondering if too many instructions is what is causing problems for people? If you do have a lot, try playing a match without these and see what happens."

Yes I just had a look at it over SI FORMS . It is always been better to have less team instinctions than too many .but the issues of corners and GK can't be fixed with this . Yes ur team and the players will play to their main strengths with lesser instructions but than all this good work is undone with the GK ,corner and FK problems
