thanks a lot jassar and abbes for the responses, it helps a lot, sorry for lots of questions

what type of striker though, good in air or good on ground

...no one can answer that .as heading and finishing are important for the striker i will say look at the filters on the tactics and use that as a guide

To be honest you may be the only one seeing any difference ;)

i never said there is a big difference .i only said one thing the finishing have been improved . strikers score more than before . that's it all other things are same

no one expected that i can even qualify to World Cup, then no one expected, that i can promote from the group, no one expected nothing, with my board and fans on first place, but i came to quater final, which i lost after very good and even match against Argentina.

probably greatest achievement in the history of Northern Ireland nation team :).

everything on 14.2.1 with Midfield Maestro away.

yes i just loaded a new saved game on 14.2.1 with MM away and results are quite amazing for me too

like i said m8, big potential ;). and actually plug and play, only with Argentina i played with high d-line+offside, cos they were making a lot of possession with a lot of passes in the middle. an it worked, they killed me twice with balls over defend, but well.. smth for smth. it was calculating risk ;).

decided to update my game with the new patch and start a new game with everton, gonna use django this time round will post how it goes

With the MM, do the outside midfield need to be LM and RM as I would considering changing them to AML and AMR to fit my payers into the tactic easier. Also want to put my own spin on the tactic rather than directly copying it, so I was considering changing the full backs to wing backs too? Thanks and regards.

i am coming up with tiki taka 14.2.1 and the changes u are mentioning are in that tactics .u can do that but that leaves a risk behind of conceding from wings

In my opinion, the MM away tactic is very good at home games. I've been winning easily. But away games are another story, i'm having huge dificulties to score goals. Sometimes is about 25 shots, only 3 on target... Tips?

guys, i have couple of short advices about d-line, if anyone of u still have some problem with it. and remember, am not saying that u need/or should/or must to use it like that, but u can try it, trust me, it can work :).

1. don't be afraid to use higher d-line against stronger or even much stronger opponent than u. ofcourse, it's always some risk when u play like that, but u'll have much more chances to cut short their possession of ball and provoke some mistake. usually stronger team gonna try to make a lot of passes in the middle before they make final cut in ur face. u need to stop them before they try to hurt u, otherwise u probably lose goal without even trying.

2. this may sound irrational, but try to play deeper or even much deeper with weak teams. usually they will try to counter u from deep field. if u set ur players deep as well, first thing - u can avoid those killer counters, or at least u increases ur chances for it. second - u will make for ur opponents space, u will pull them on ur half, and thanks to this u make more space for urself, for ur strikers and for hitting a goal by them.

3. this have some connection with point 2. if u have possesion, shots, everything, and u just can't score, it probably because ur opponent park the bus/tank/or airplane in theirs goal - so then, irrationally, try to set ur d-line deep back and like i wrote above, u will pull their players on ur own half and u will make more space to ur attack. it means probably more chances for u and not necessarily for them, so what do u have to lose? draw 0-0? or even lost after some set piece for them? c'moooon, no risk, no fun.

i am trying to make a tiki taka out of this tactics which have a aml and a amr .so wait till tomorrow i will upload it up for testing . that can be played home and away and great results

for this one as it have a dm .when u are away to a stronger team u use it as it is . but away to a weaker team do attacking training and after half time try using home tactics as it have a amc ....

loved ur post man ... will move it to OP

i am tweaking tiki taka and will incorporate all this in that tactics . thanks mate

anyone else finding that players get exhausted really quickly in this new patch. i'm a quarter of the way into a new season so full fitness all round and they play a couple of games and my assistant says they need an extended rest!! any ideas?? my training is set to moderate

Unfortunately (at least from what I've experienced) the only way is to rotate your squad, and ofc this will be difficult if you don't have a massive squad; but it seems like that's the only way in order to keep them fit throughout the season.

also it's worth to add, that if u want to have nice view how the things looks like on the pitch, i reccomend u to use 2d view.

abbes some very good points there! I think d-line "fear" is quite legitimate for a lot of folks. The worry of the "ball over the top" for many puts them off an otherwise excellent tactical decision.
