i don't have any of the instructions that make players tackle hard or aggressively ..u can try using some PPM for those players or fine them if they do often ...other than that i cant think how can u make them to get less cards ...
try substituting players after 60 min that have cards

it was amazing first season, now its really inconsistent, lost to man utd 3-0, (got battered) then lost to dortmund 2-1 (dominated) then managed to beat villa 1-0 but then got demolished 1-4 at home to swansea!!

Well then you're doing something wrong, no doubt about that. I made a save with Manchester United just 3 days ago; won every competition that was possible, and only lost 1 game (because I had to use an outfield player as a GK since all my GK's were injured). Halfway through my second season I stopped and made a new save with Jassar's newest IMPOSSIBLE-tactic, because BOMB became too boring. I'm simply unstoppable with BOMB as Man Utd - there is absolutely no challenge. :P

hardly any, i havent done anything! knowing SI the bastards have probably programmed the game so the AI can get used to your tactic and out play it somehow..

i agree its really amazing tactics...how is IMPOSSIBLE going on by the way

it doesnt make sense, goals are leaking in like crazy, i think in a fluke i managed to beat tottenham 5-4 after being 4-2 down at half time to them.. but even so!

I reloaded the start of Man United-second season and applied the IMPOSSIBLE tactic, I couldn't be arsed to hire new trainers, buy players etc. all over again, so I just did this.

Tactic isn't even fluid, and the difficulty is supposed to rise in the second season, but still:

16 games, 16 wins:

My main man, Quintero - and he's only getting assists from open play; because RVP is taking the set pieces:

I'm rotating Robin Van Persie, Mitrovic and Barbosa (1 world class, 2 youngsters) as my strikers; and they're scoring shitloads.

Summary so far:
I thought it wasn't possible to make the IMPOSSIBLE-tactic better than what it already was, but apparently you just did it. Congrats my friend, the best 442 and 4231 in this game is on your name.

Every person has their own taste, so my view is totally subjective; but I think the football we get to see here is more entertaining than BOMB.

UPDATE:
Just had my first loss now, after 26 games played. Team is showing signs of a dip in form, perhaps its because I'm using Januzaj as my AMC and not Quintero (because he's injured). So apparently, the AMC is still the most important position in this tactic.

Gonna try out your new impossible tactic today. Are your results different using DW instead of IF? (i see you give us the chance to use one of them. really like the option :P)

played a season with Leeds and won promotion to the premier league, and currently in my 2nd season trying to avoid relegation the BOMB away tactic is doing good but i need a solid home tactic or you think i can tweak and use BOMB as home aswell? conceding alot of goals at home thats the main issue or strikers failing to score on CCC's. cant wait for the underdog tactic wanna test it in my home games!

Hi jassar,
since the last patch 1.2.2 i found that bomb away tact with underdog teams lost his magic.

In my opinion, the main reason is that with the patch is much more difficult to keeping possession AND attack without direct passing.
Also, with the defensive line tweak against underdog your team stay nearly all behind the ball, and without direct passing it's difficult for the striker to find goal.

In bomb tactic, nearly every player have the individual instruction to short passing the ball on the pitch.

So even if you tell them to play more direct, they will not listen.

I remove this instruction and in away games with underdog teams, i tell my team to play more direct passing untill we score one or two goals.

After that, you can set the old instruction back, and go for less direct passing, keeping the ball and keeping the win.

Hope this help,
S.

Defensive wingers.

EDIT: Oh I didnt read your question right, I thought you asked what I was using. I experienced a few games with IF's along with the instructions that Jassar recommended, but I didn't like the playing style. I rahter have the wingers act like supporters down the wing; running and up and kicking in those crosses, and have the AMC act like the link between everything that goes on in the midfield and build up.
