Good luck all! Norway not qualified offscoure, so my support goes to England!

Jassar, i have 3 questions regarding MW tactic ( wich looks great for Man United by the way )

-regarding oposition scout report, the exampel you make with Fulham, they play narrow, therefore you exploit their flanks. If i face a team that has alot of crosses, do i then play narrow? if you can explain please.

-regarding defending set pieces, the setup has no players on the posts and my assistant keeps pointing that out, even with my own football experience i know this is very important. how can i change this around and still have a strong defence for oposition set pieces?

-i brought in diego costa ( train as DLP ), montoya (RB), bender ( BWM and DM ), carvalho (DM) and farfan (RW). so that meens 5 new signings, and i sold Rvp, Kagawa and nani. Thats 5 new players in and 3 out, is it so that you then recomend Defensive general training and defensive set pieces as match training for the 10 first matches then? Since i sign 4 players or more?

yes if a team plays narrow ....u will play narrow too but u will exploit the wings to make them pay
if a team plays wide u will play wide but u will exploit the middle

i wont care if player is on post or no ......we need to not concede and thats what this set piece does
so make sure u do def set piece training and everything is fine

i will still do def set piece and teamwork training for first 10 matches as 4 changes are lot to make changes

the onley signing i made for first team was Lucas Romero rest was youth for the future

Hey mate. Do you play with the away tactic on away matches, or only on hard away?

Hello jassar, im currently using your bomb tactics, I like playing 4-4-2, which out of all the list of tactics on OP are best suitable for the new patch, ie which are made specifically for the patch. Tried MW for a season but found it very inconsistent.

u can ,i always do .but to keep it simple as a lot of people cant just follow it(don't know why) i kept it deeper as defalut
 
After struggling with FM 14, i found the solution! THIS POST from Jassar!

Follow the steps in this post, find the tactic that suits your team best ( for my Manchester United it was Modern Warefare ) and just be patient, and you WILL have success!

I won Charity shield, League cup, Fa cup and premier League in my first season! Lost Champions League final against bayern, 2-1 after extra time, played well, just unlucky!
 
Can anyone recommend a tactic for an ambitious team going from CH to Prem?
 
Hey guys looking for a really defensively solid tactic. I stuck between Underdog God, PPP or Bomb Rock Baby?

Which one should I be looking at?
 
I would go for Underdog God then... i had great results with it even though i was often the lesser team. PPP is more possession based, which is not te same as defensive

First of all, thanks for this awesome thread and sharing your experience with us. It really helps alot!

I have a few questions i hope you can help me with.

1. In regards to your tactics (for instance for MM and Quad)
What do you do when you say D-line needed? ofcourse i have read the main thread but i see you can do 2 different things
A) Based it on opp scout report
B) Do it based on how strong an opponent is (also on main thread --> bigger = oush high and off trap, weaker = drop deep)
Which of these do you use? I am especially confused with A and B. In the past i used option B (same or lower rep drop deep, and tougher opps i used push up with offside trap). But most of the opp scout reports i see teams who score with only crosses and passes... What do you give priority to?
For instance: lower rep team, but who scores mainly with crosses and passes?

2. When you have time, would you mind updating Monster tactic? That one interests me most due to it being totally different and very compact in midfield. I really love the way it looks. I am currently playing MM coz of the midfield control and F9 to help. It works wonders with Liverpool. But would love to try no wingers and 2 SS

3. Do you use media predicions still? For instance with Quad tactic of Midfield Maestro? With MM home do you change control to counter when opponent is better according to media predictions?

Do you use both home at home always? And away on away always?
And do you use d-line?
 
Second time I've posted this, but it's happened twice! Jassar, you've made my FM14 (again) with PPP, MW and tiki taka, well done sir, and everyone should at least try these tactics, if not fall in love with them

Having problems in Skrill. Tried a lot of tactics, but can't seem 'the one'. Which of your amazing tactics suits a non-league team best?
