fm 15 possession

Hello guys, I am here to ask you about ball possession in fm 15. I watch all my games, I feel like I'm dominating enemy team, I feel like I'm having ball all the time but when I look at the possession stats it's something about 65% while real Barca yesterday vs Deportivo had 80% ball possession... I know it is possible to make high possession tactic in fm but when I do, I don't score much goals. Any tips or something? How is that possession calculator working in this fm?

If you're dominating every game then why are you worried about having more possession? Like IRL, having that much possession often means pointless passing.
