Fm 20009 9.2.0 Bug Maybe?

ok s i've just reinstalled fm2009,updated the official 9.2.0 patch and also downloaded the january transfer update from the site aswell,and a dundee united face pack,loaded up a new game,chose dundee united,chairman welcomes me etc,then im asked to choose a prediction for league placing,i kept it on euro qualify through league position,but when i choose to hit confirm nothing happens and i cant really do anything as i need to be able to select this to continue,any suggestions as to what the issue may be,using default skin and **** confirm button won't do anything.running on vista!

try and go on holiday for a day or two to skip the days or just uninstall the game then reinstall it

yeah i need to choose a day holiday to complete signings,attend media conferences etc,pretty annoying
