FM 2010 Wonderkids - what do you think?

Mesut Özil, Dmytro Chygrynskyy, Fran Mérida, Victor Sánchez Mata should also be vastly improved.

Whats wrong with having players with world class stats that we have never heard of or are in average teams??
 
Leigh "Sparky" Griffiths, plays for Dundee now, but played for Livi last season, scoring over 20 goals, despite being injured for long periods.

He is 3 times as god IRL than he is on FM 09...

Also Andrew Halliday, in Livi. :D
 
Danny Welbeck, Darron Gibson and Macheda should all be good enough to play for Utd as they are in Real life
 
kristizan nemeth great pre season also welbeck scored some great goals and wilshere obviously and have a look out for mancienne

You've probably never heard of a lot of great players, doesn't make them any less quality.

Players outside of the Premier League, and Inter/AC, Barcelona/Real and Bayern can be good too, y'know.
 
i do think srna was over rated but its true players who play in the so called lesser leagues can be good to
 
Definetly Wilshere. To be honest, I think Macheda is overrated , he scores one good goal, on his second attempt, and suddenly he's a wonderkid? People exaggerating things really

Vladimir Weiss could potentially be a wonderkid on FM10!
He was **** poor on 09 and looks like he might feature a fair bit this season.

He scored 2 goals. Get your facts right. And the quality of the goals are the main reason why he is rated so highly.

Couldn't understand your logic but I guess you're a blind fan. Wilshere is definitely a wonderkid while Macheda isn't? Wilshere haven't even performed in higher stages yet and he is a definite while Macheda who had already started scoring goals last season isn't? Maybe you rate performances in EMIRATES Cup higher than EPL eh?
 
wilshere also got goals in the carling and fa cup, and will be a first team payer this season, macheda wont, plus wilshere is a midfielder, so it's not just goals that are important.

I said that he scored one goal and everyone was claiming he was a wonderkid, I never said he only scored 1 goal

Macheda came out of nowhere. Against Aston Villa, the ball was played to him, he tried that little flick and loses the ball. Luckily Man Utd get it back, then the ball is played to him again, he tries the exact same flick again. This time it works and he swings his leg at it and it curls into the far corner. It was a good goal but nothing amazing, people just got over excited because of the flick and the fact that it won Man Utd an important match

The second goal just deflected of his foot, he knew nothing about it. But all the pundits exaggerated it and said he opened his foot up and knew exactly what he was doing.

It seemed more likely to me that he knew nothing about it and had opened his foot because of reflex that any decent football would have.

This player comes out of nowhere, gets two goals and does nothing else of note for the rest of the season and he's a wonderkid.

Wilshere has been clearly and constantly developing for several years now and showed his class in the Emirates Cup by out playing every player there
 
I personally rate Wilshere above Macheda, but they play in different positions.

He didn't say that did he.. I think what he meant is that having players like Srna rated as "World class" on the game when they aren't that good in real life..

yeah i agree somtimes people rate players as wonder kids or what not after 3-4 games, i somtimes go on the fifa10 forums and they are saying people like wilshire ramsey macheda gosling rodwell, saivet, sakho fran merida kieran gibbs maybe denilson vela jay simpson and mark randall all at 75+ which they are not with the exception of 4 or 5 of the names i've just mentioned most are good enough for championship defo not prem, i agree with you ccllnply im not sure if macheda should be a wonder kid but he will prob be rated as one on the game yeah he scored a few good goals although in the 90th min it dont mean hes a wonderkid as hes hardly played where some of the other names been going around have been playing 15 odd games a season for their club macheda has only played around 4 or 5

Well, I'm not sure about that. Fifa will most likely make him great and same with PES, if their **** researchers even know he exists, but FM's researchers always seem to have a lot more cop on and skill so I'm not sure if they'll give him wonderkid statis based on two good performances
