Hi there. This is similar to this: http://www.fm-base.co.uk/forum/f101/fm-2011-youngster-t50145.html , but this thread is about promising youngsters for lower league clubs (League 1 and below), as well as bargain signings that will be good additions to your lower league team.

I'll start off with a Youngster:

Name - Tom Walsh
Starting Club - Liverpool (but he cancels his contract in the first couple of days)
Age - 16
Nationality - English
Position - ML/AML
Starting Value - £12k

Now a Free Transfer:

Name - Nigel Quashie
Age - 32
Nationality - Scottish
Position - MC

Every player you choose must be interested in joining a club in League 1 or below or be in a League 1 club or below.

Quashie would actually go to a League 2 team? :S

free transfer:

febian brandy
kign gyan
chris james

There's some really nice free transfers if you're a N Power Championship team on the new game! :D

- Jeremy Aliadiere (ST/AMR)
- Jay DeMerit (DC/DR)
- Fabrice Pancrate (ST/AMR)
- Dave Van den Bergh (AMC/MC)
- Michael Ball (DL/WBL)
- Olivier Kapo (AML/R/C)

As for youngsters I haven't managed to sign any yet as they are expensive but you can get the following on loan very easily

- Bebe (AML/R/C)
- Harvard Nordveit (DM/MC)

Just found another one

AML/ML Cristophe Gregoire (FREE)

He's an absolute wizard on the wing and he'll join any championship side. Puts some fantastic crosses into the box.

Coelho - Free Transfer - Beast
Wojciech Szczesny - Arsenal offered him for free because i was interested

STAY AWAY from - Thiago Gosling

only player i have signed so far is steve finnan on a free, Im playing as Aberdeen and he's doing well if somewhat unspectacularly. He's set up three goals and is solid, would do fine in league 1 or lower to mid table championship

I have some players for England league one and lower on free transfer:
Hasney Aljofree - DC/DL
James Ashmore - MC/AMC
Andy Butler - DC
David Cowan - DR/MR
Izzy Iriekpen - DC

i will add more as soon as i find some.

frank songo'o-good right winger pacey and good for me in league 1
febian brandy- great player- very fast which makes up for his other poor stats.
ben thatcher- old but good in league 1 for a season or two.
jimmy walker- old keeper but can do a job in league 1 for a season or two.

League 1.

Free Transfers:

Benoît Haaby - CB (Get this guy if you can)
Issou Dao - CB (I cant get work permit for him though ..)
Sam Sodje - CB
Kerrea Gilbert - RB
Derek Geary - RB/LB
Rodrique Dikaba - RB/WB(r)/DM/CM
Yassin Moutaouakil - RB/WB

King Gyan - DM/CM
Ali Fuseini - CM/AM (Not as good as Gyan though)
Laurent Merlin - CM/AM (As good as Gyan)

Jack Sampson - ST (Good one for the future)
Omar Koroma - ST (Can be very good if played right)

All these are good enough for the championship if you get there also with Haaby even good enough for lower premier league teams.

Craig Eastmond or Corry Evans are great to get on loan to also look for Wissam El Berki as he gets transfer listed. can get for around 14k, very good at LB.

Guylain Ndumbu-Nsungu-Striker-free transfer

signed him for Stevenage first season was my top scorer with 18 goals and won signing of the season :D

so far half way through second season and he currently has 11 goals and could of had more if it wasnt for a few injuries.

Iwould definately reccomend him to anyone managing a league 2 side or maybe even a few league 1 sides.

Marcel Mahouve

Lolo

Marco Teani

Sam Sodje

Ben Hoskin (future)

you can't go far wrong with Wesley Ngo Baheng in the Blue Square Prem or League 2, as he is currently proving to me....although I hope he'll be able to cut it in League 1 as I'm looking good for promotion with Newport County. I agree with the above judgement on Tom Walsh also, he's doing well for me.

Frederic Daquin - Blue Square Prem + League 2

Febian Brandy for a free! got him for portsmouth, finished with 22 goals first season and hes currently on 15 from 17 games, the kids rapid so the amount of times he gets through one on one makes up for his finishing stat, even at 14 though he seems to finish well, he also got signing of the season. bebe, and ciaran clark are doing well for me on loan as youngsters!
