FM-Base FC - Challenge

Hello fellow FM-Base members. I have devised a challenge for you, if you choose to accept it, to bring the mighty FM-Base FC from the lower leagues in English football, up to the Premier league and beyond.

The back story

Plymouth Argyle have been liquidated after years of financial issues. The Curse network have purchased a club within London, and renamed them after one of their own websites, FM-Base. With the club re-branded, and a new 30,000 seat stadium built, the FA have decided that the club is worthy of directly replacing Plymouth within the football league. With the club spending all their money on the stadium, they have no money for players, so have had to recruit users from the website. After a trial period, users with the most potential have been selected, and for some reason, they are all 19. Creepy huh. Anyway, these players have been thrust into the first team, in an attempt to take the club to the Premiership. FM-Base admin Sean Taylor has been left in charge of the club, and to find a manager worthy of bringing greatness to the team, are you up for the challenge?

The Squad

There are varied players signed up to the team, enough in each position for you to create a team worthy of reaching the premier league. Everyone has a random potential, between -8 to -10 depending on Forum status (premium members -9, Regular members -8 and Moderators -10), and the Current abilities are relatively similar ranging from 70-90, in the same scale as the potentials are done. Most players stats are random, while a few people I have seen play have a few attributes set to somehow represent how they play in real life. So here are the users selected (by me).

How do I score points?!

So, with a challenge, we need a scoring system. So, here it is!

These are the points if you win the tournaments. If you are the runner up in the tournament, then you get half the points, so if you come second in the Prem, you get 20 points, if you come second in the Champs league final, you get 40 points. If you come second in a cup/league that is dividable by 5, then it's rounded down to the nearest 2.

If you are promoted via the play off's in a league, then you half the points again, so if you go up through the play offs in league 2, you get one point, league 1 you get 2 points, Championship you get 5 points, and obviously no points for third in the Premier league.

What do I need to do to join this challenge?!

Well, we will start off with some simple rules:

1. Make a new manager, he needs to start with experience of 'Automatic', the rest doesn't matter.
2. I will be limiting this to 10 saves a season, I think this is enough. We don't want people saving after every loss.
3. Don't edit the database after I have edited it, unless you are putting yourself in the team as a player, which is fine, but you must make the player with the right CA and PA as your user on FM-Base. If you are premium, that's 80 CA and -9 PA, and for regular members 70 CA and -8PA.
4. Don't use FMRTE. Please.

Ok so now those rules are out of the way, to join the game, I will need some screenshots:

A picture of your managers information page.
A picture of your created player, if you have made one.
A picture of your game status, showing saves, db changes, etc.

After each season has been played, if you think you have won points in an area, I will need a Screenshot of the point winning pages. Aka, champions league final image, the Premier League table showing you in the top two, etc.

I will keep a running leader board of all the players that post the original screenshots, but I will need you to try and calculate the points you win when you upload the following screens, I will check these so don't try and lie, but if you know how many points you deserve then it makes it easier for me. I will also be doing the challenge, so I hope anyone else who joins plays it fairly.

Yeah, you don't start with a budget, but you might want to bring in some older players on a free I suppose. The players in the current squad should be pretty good in a season or two anyway. :)

Found a problem with your database mate, you need to have 6 players trained in England before 21st birthday for each npower league squad, none of your players have this status so you cannot fill out a squad.

Ah nice, I had just done it as well. Will put it in the original file. :) Thanks bud.

Updated, the file in the OP should be up to date now to use. :) let me know if you have any more issues.
 
Because I picked active and regular members from FM-Base, while I have never heard of you.

As I stated in the OP, feel free to add yourself into the game, I added that so people that weren't in the squad would be more interested in the game. So if you want to play it, just add yourself in. :)

on here everyday pretty much if you look and my laptop lets say very very old i can't download it and i didn't wan't to play it i just wanted you to do a story and see how we and i get on in the game

When I get around to doing the challenge, as I am already in the game, I will add you into my game. Then you can follow my updates to see how you have been doing. :)
