Dagenham and Redbridge rebranded
Dagenham and Redbridge have been purchased by a consortium of investors who have announced the club will be re-branded. The club will be formally renamed FM Base FC after a website based on computer game series Football Manager. Sports Interactive have announced they have signed a six year sponsorship contract with the club and that the club will complete it's transformation by the start of the 2013-14 League Two season in three months time. The leader of the consortium FMBinc has revealed he has released the entire squad and that the team will start completely from scratch.

"Our intention is to build a club from nothing and we believe we have made the right decision to press forward with this. Fans will be livid and we may lose a fanbase but the club will always stay true to it's Dagenham roots. We will be based in Dagenham but we will rebrand to FM Base. With the name change, the club have earned more income and the consortium I represent have wiped club debt and we have plunged a significant fee into the club.

I changed it to LAM but Striker or LAM I don't mind. Thanks though.
