FM-Base La Liga Fantasy League 11/12

No idea how to do that screenshot ****.. so my team is as follows:

GK: Diego Alves (Valencia)

Def: Carvalho (R. Madrid), Cata Diaz (Getafe), Navarro (Sevilla), Demidov (Real Sociedad)

Mid: Kaka (Real Madrid), Navas (Sevilla), Banega (Valencia), Thiago (At Mad)

Att: Muiain (Bilbao), Sanchez (Barcelona)

Pretty **** team compared to some of the others here, but I'm not complaining :L

Some good choices...

Surprised you went with the Portugese waste of space Tiago I have to say haha.

Defence looks fairly solid though, alot of Carvalho choices going around as well.

Nice to see Navas/Muniain getting a look in as well.

Haha! Well, I only took him because I ran out of money.

My attack is fairly strong, just not to sure about my goalkeeper. To be fair, I don't know much about Diego Alves... Seemed like a good choice though.

I think it's because of his price, was with me anyway. Hopefully he can stay injury-free, keep his place in the team and rack up some points.

I have a Bundesliga fantasy team as well but it's on the German website Bild and...Well...It's in German.

Trying to find a Ligue 1 site but I'm not seeing any at the minute, just waiting for the Serie A (<3) site to get it's act together in the next week and I'll set a league up on there.

This is my team at the moment, I have decided to get in reliable goal scorers to get me most of my points. I may have to change a couple players including Osvaldo as I'm not too sure when the transfer to Atletico will be completed., although it is reported that a fee has been agreed.

Nice front line I have to say, Sarabia/Ander/Courtois/Amorebieta/Timo are star buys...

Reason I went with so many Athletic players is because Bielsa's team are my dark horses for the top 4, big season for Costa at Valencia if he can stay injury free would love to see him firing.

May I ask why? Atletico Madrid's defense is usually pretty weaksauce. Though they have bought a very strong defender in Miranda.

His price tag is a big factor and the fact that De Gea (Very acrobatic) has scored points for fun in previous seasons...

No point in paying the big money for Valdes/Casillas/Alves when we can take a punt on a young kid at Atleti.

Iraizoz was a close 2nd choice GK for me but I fancy Courtois to rack up the points like they're going out of fashion.

Filipe/Miranda/Godin/Lopez/Silvio/Dominguez...Not the worst set of defenders in La Liga.

The midfield's fairly solid, Aduriz may pull off a good season at Valencia.

Toquero will be faded out by Bielsa in my opinion, if he goes 3-4-3 he may play him out wide in a Dirk Kuyt type role but I doubt it.

Toquero/Aduriz are gambles but I like the rest, think they are pretty solid choices.

I was going to do a team on Bild a couple of days ago and it was going fine, until the postcode. I could use a random, but there'salready been 2 sets of games, so unless I join a league it would be pretty pointless because I'd be WAY behind all the German's in the overall standings.

I wish a British site would do all the big leagues.

Only one's I am planning on doing is La Liga/BPL/Serie A.

Ah, ok. I can see why you wouldn't have liked it that much. I don't think I could ever decide on a team.

Same it seems, wish there was more to do, but oh well. Most likely won't pay that much attention to BPL one though seeming it didn't give me any points for the first week! Always find other leagues more fun to watch/do a fantasy team with anyway, usually.

Yeah I do the Texaco Champ one, got half my team MFC and the rest WHU/Southampton. Crazy how leniant the rules of selection are.
