That's the point mate, you get unlucky in the draft one time, then you are back raring to go and get the Messi/Ronaldo the next. Beauty of this series, and why I'm hoping to have several editions of it. Really want to get rivalries going, favorites vs underdog, etc. And it wouldn't be possible without all of you guys! :) So thanks for that! Super pumped mates, and super pumped to claim my first title ;)
 
Group A is the group of death!

We're not even bothered about our own teams anymore, it's the 'our group is better' argument.

I've got Suarez, Vidal, and Pogba to worry about, and my best player is the geezer Iniesta haha.. well and Reus ;)

I'm tempted to go Target Man with Aguero, so I was naturally thinking Heskey (if you can get him to come out of retirement) - he's perfect for a knockout competition!!


ps... Are we doing a trade week before we start or sticking with our drafted team?

Sticking with the team :) Gives people a chance to test out tactics and rely on their own luck.
 
Let's be honest, who else has a shortlist full of players and has been playing alternate draft scenarios in their head *guiltily raises hand*
 
So my last 2 games in the Ashes series will be against Matt & Craig, who will also be 2 of my first 3 games here?
 
Love how my group (bar Nomadic) are really close in the draft order as well...
