Wait what about this; exactly halfway through is the end of round 6 right? So what about this: 5/6 are two picks, then 7/8/9/10 are 3 picks. We eliminate two rounds off of the end of this thing. What do you guys say?

I prefer this. I was juts open to 3 picks at this stage of the draft since the players are so similar now :)
 
Haha okay, at the end of round 6 (a little over a round from now) three picks will come into play, meaning that this draft is now only ten rounds.
 
Uh... I'm not so positive about the 3 picks option, I'd rather keep it to 2.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

But there are a lot of similar players now... with only ten rounds we'd be able to start gameplay almost a week earlier. But that all depends on you guys; if you want to play, stay #dedicated ;) and reply quickly as you have been doing. Cheers!
 
Well at least it means the draft will almost certainly be finished before my holiday :) How long after the draft finishes will the games start? And how long is the period for each game to be played in?

Well lets say the draft finishes by Sunday/Monday at the latest, the fixtures are up tuesday, test games are also on Tuesday, and gameweek 1 starts wednesday. Each gameweek is one week so... how long is ur holiday?

Yea that's right in the middle of the tourney; in any case you can just play your fixture a day early or a day after, just arrange it with your opponent, it's no big deal :)

Just out of curiosity, why do you want to stay at 2?
Our main reason for wanting to switch is that the player left are of such similar quality that picking more won't directly affect the quality of players others have left to choose form.

Edit: If it get changed I'm the one who'll suffer most since I'm at the opposite end of the order :P

Because I understand that it would take it's time, and it may be a bit of pressure and frustration in picking 6 in a row, or 3, 3, 6, 3, 3 (You should know that.)

And there's no need to rush, this is meant to be a fun game. :)

I've found the opposite to be honest.
I'm like "Okay, I don't really have to be frugal here." I get to extend myself and pick players for different positions when i might instead have priorities one over the other if I only had one round.

It'll still take time to complete. It took 2-3 days to get this far, I expect another day (maybe 2 even) with picking 3.

Edit: I don't feel it's being rushed if we switch to 3. Staying at two given the quality of players left feel like keeping the pace slow for the sake of it.

I think we all appreciate the input though. Cheers for bringing it up! I'm sure Mkmillwall agrees with me on that point.
