FM Editor data help for Mac

I have managed to locate my folder: Steamapps/common/footballmanager2012editor however, i cannot find the "tools" folder, is there any reason for this?

Also, when i download a league from the internet, is there a software/programme i would need for opening it?

I am using a Mac OS X Version 10.7.4

I have downloaded the editor, that was not the point i was making, i want to put a file from the internet into a folder but i cannot find the "tools" folder

Ah ok, the downloaded files need to be put into the following folder...

Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2012\editor data\

If the folder doesn't exist then you will need to create it.
