FM loading problem

when i go to start up fm2010 it comes up with this error message.

not well formed (invalid token) at line 1 of default.xml

please help

He can't even get to loading up a saved game. It's quite a common XML parsing error unfortunately.

I had it on fm09 and tried everything but to no use
you should only get the error if you use capitals exclamation marks ect in your saved game file name
in 09 I got the error 3 times
now I am on my 3rd season and have had nothing because I saved it with no capitals ect

Got it sorted.

I just had to delete a settings folder. Saved game is fine just all my settings like my skin had been reset to default.
