FM on new laptop...

Well ive finally bought a new laptop.. FM11 is running super smooth, with graphics on high and looks beautiful. However, I dont know if it is how my new laptop works, or because it is windows 7.. but I can no longer use the F3/F4 keys etc to quickly switch between the screens in FM like I could on my old laptop.

Now I have to hold down a 'fn' key on my laptop then press the F key. Kind of like how you would CTRL & paste etc. I know it sounds lazy but it does slow things down abit, is there anyway to get around this?

Not that I know of. My own laptop is the same and as far as I know that's the only way the function keys work. It is a bit of a pain but just got to get used to it I guess.

Is it a Dell by any chance?

Nah its a HP.

I thought it might work if I tried playing in windowed mode but that doesnt make a difference either :S

Thats part and parcel with most laptops.. You get used to it..

I just got a new HP and to use the F keys you have to hold down the fn button.
