i dont know, its looking really competitive, if that's you thinking of going for a younger approach, i dont know that i would completely do that. certainly mix in some youth though

I know what you mean mate. I'm going to try and get a few promising kids in. Good idea about the youth round etc.
 
I think we have 2 different styles. We will have teams were they splash out on the stars but no back ups for when players getting injured. But then you also have people who buy maybe lesser known players but a whole squad full with plenty of backup players. This makes it fun and also should be entertaining.

haha actually i underbid that round, although i have shelled out 140m for my starting front line.. but tevez's performance over the weekend made me feel a bit better about the 70m price tag

You must have read my mind, I was thinking of doing just a youth round, consisting of under 21s. is every one up for that!? but I won't give out extra budget. You can have a10 year loan deal, which means it may have financial implications on your squad.

(But I will consider the bargin budget round, plus say 25m for the round, not a bad idea that, although I might do it at the end just so you guys can get the numbers in!?)

yeah thats exactly what i was thinking! and i didnt mean give an extra budget for the youth round, i was saying to put a cap on what you can spend on it. OR do a reverse auction, lowest bid wins, and put a maximum and minimum bid, tied bids get discarded so everyone cant just automatically bid the minimum and mud everything up. also keep the same incremental bids so we dont get 4.00000001 million.
