Fm Shutting down before entering a match

The Title says it all really, after i name my lineup and click match it just freezes and goes to my desktop its happened now with 2 saves my Man city and leeds save first game of friendlys its not happened before that, by the way i am on steam

are you on the latest patch?

do you have any add ons like skins, graphics etc?
 
Newest patch coz im on steam and ive got add ons yes i.e. Skins logos etc...
 
try removing all the add ons and see if that helps. if it rectifies the preoblem then add them back one by one until you identify the dodgy one.

If removing them doesnt work then try a reinstall
 
but its on steam if i re-install then wont i need the CODE again, but arent u only can use it once
 
i dont use steam as i have no faith in it since the total balls up that was FM2009. Also i dont wish to be connected to the internet at all times when playing, so unfortunately i have no idea mate, someone else (a steam user) should be able to tell you though.
 
I'm not sure, but I think it might be something to do with if your system can't handle the match engine or something. Try going to preferences and turning off the 3d pitch. If i'm wrong I'm sorry, I'm probably talking a load of balls.
