2) Receive a Bronze manager.
3) Receive a Silver manager at a cost of x (eg 1000) coins
4) Receive a Gold manager at a cost of x (eg 3000) coins

Obviously it would make more work for you as you'd have to split managers into ability brackets and assign them each numbers, but it could make the game even more tactical.

cheers for the feedback involving managers and tactics, I dont think I will be able to incorporate tactics into the game as I will not be managing any of the teams when I simulate the seasons. As for managers I cant think of anyway to stop the clubs from sacking managers so my suggestion would be to set all the clubs with the same reputation at the start of the game and remove all current managers and then allow the clubs to appoint there own managers during the simulation. When clubs are promoted I will increase there reputation ready for the 2nd season so they can attract better managers.
