errm right, i (think) i did what you said and i got this error C:\Documents and Settings\Les\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2009\db\FM_UPDATE_V.3.zip: The archive is either in unknown format or damaged

any ideas ?

u need to unzip/unrar it first the file should look like a normal folder and should just be called fm_update_v.3 no .zip/.rar at the end . u also have to be running fm2009 on the v9.3. U ARE PUTTING IN THE RIGHT PLACE. hope this helps.

Tbh mate you shouldnt bother releasing another update till the transfer market closes.

I disagree, keeping it up to date is a good idea as other people may make a new update and Chris might get people not getting his update if he was to release it a while after.

First you need WinRAR http://www.filehippo.com/download_winrar/ Then you need to extract the file into Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2009/db. I don't understand how people have these type of problems, no offense.

Cheers Chris, this will take up time away from doing my own database trying to make the championship a better standard and premiership a bit better and adjusted budgets so far to reflect hopefully it will be good but will definately try yours and cheers for the time spent it does take ages editing (A)
