Manchester City have today made another sensational swoop in the summer transfer market, and signed centre-back Kolo Toure from Arsenal, with Sky Sports News reporting that the player has signed a four-year deal at the club for a fee of £16m.
Also, Olympique Lyonnais have completed the signing of Saint-Etienne striker Bafetimbi Gomis, the French club have confirmed on their website.
The 23-year-old will pen a five-year contract with Lyon, subject to passing a medical with the club.
Lyon will spend €13 million on 'Bafe', a fee that could rise by €2 million depending upon the young forward's performances.
