How exactly will the website ever compete with the likes of FM-base? I mean is it actually any different, or is it just a cheap copy of what we are already members too?

I wouldn't even call it a cheap version... It's not exactly up and running yet as a complete forum...

Tbh I don't actually think it's that bad, yeah the logo could be improved a bit, but it seems very tidy and nicely laid out. However I think I'll stick to fm-base for now

It was also posted less than two weeks ago.

Here's some help;

i) Ridiculous name for a site. FM-You? what? You're going to 'FM' me? eh?
ii) Awful logo both on the main and forum pages.
iii) Google ads already - someone make this site just for the $0.01 adsense a month?
iv) Donate? for what? a facelift for the site I hope.
v) "Buy VIP" - rofl.
vi) Using the "we need mod's" to get members, is so 1996.

Oh, and one email could get the ads taken off the site - I suggest "joel" removing this line from one of the threads;

"When you come onto our website ( fm-you ) will you Please, Once in a while. Click the adverts as it raises funds for the forum.

"

Think that line indicates why the forum has been reopened!

vii) Having an unlimited avatar size is ridiculous.
