I would say this is for begginers, most key people on the site know, but there is 235,127 members when I wrote this, so some of them might need this guide.

Making Money:

There are many ways to make money. Even if you are a big club, you world still like to make a bit of money. Here are a few tips:

- Doing whatever you can to achieve promotion or win a cup. There are always hefty rewards, and TV money from promotion will go up massively. I think if you play in the Premier League you can receive up to around £30,000,000 on TV money.

- Buying players on a free and then selling them in January, or just try to make them unhappy so they want to leave. You can get big money from this, mainly if you are a lower reputation club. Also when you get further into the game there is quite a few regens that get released, you can pick them up easily. If you are in a lower league look at the country's top teams and buy their released regen players. They may not be that good, but once you sign them they will be worth a couple of hundred grand. Find a way to sell them then you are raking in the cash!

1) At the start of a season, click arrange a Friendly
2) change it from Friendly to League
3) Invite BIG Club's (Premier League/Championship) to will the teams, I.E Arsenal,Newcastle,Sunderland worked for me but in theory most big teams would work.
4) The teams should accept, and with out being told all the games from the League should be televised,
5) So from around 100K - 300K Gate money depending on your stadium & around 250K -300K TV money

'I Have A Low Wage Budget!'

- Take a look through your Under 18's (19's ect.) team. Look at all your players and determine whether they are good or not. Once you have done that keep all the good ones and the once worth enough. You could use Genie Scout to see their PA's if you want. Release all of the bad players. You could also do the same for your reserves.

- Lots of people have a high budget, and are over their wage budget. Instead of buying players look to sell some of them. Make this your priority, as their wage will get deducted from you wage budget.

- When you have done this go to Board Request, then at the bottom of the screen you will see adjust budgets. Use the slider to change this.

'Why Do I have Such A Big Wage But A Low Transfer Budget?'

- Again go to Adjust Budgets and you can change this easily.

'Why Are My Finances So High, But I have Such A Low Transfer Budget?'

- Go to Board Request and ask for a higher budget. But if you have high Finances, the chairman will usually give you a cash injection.

Handling Finances In Future Years

- Keep close tabs on what you are loosing.

- Try finding a way to stop that problem.

- If you cant figure out ask someone on the forum.

Sponsorship

- Good sponsorship always comes with time. Once your club gets well known, richer companies will buy so you get more money. Don't feel disheartened if it goes down, as soon it will rise.

- To get more money on merchandising, the club will have to get a new kit sponsor. This will happen when the old one has expired. This will usually be until 2012, but smaller clubs may be shorter. You can't influence whom you kit sponsor will be, so you can't get more money off merchandising.

- When you make a new 'Big-Name' signing the club will sell more merchandise with his name on.

What about sponsorship because in my second season, after winning the treble, my sponsorship was down by 30% but i have managed to increase my balance by about 15m in a season, without too much transfer dealings
however i would like to get more in math day income and merchandising

Good guide, very helpful to have if you are in need of some cash.

Very good guide mate, should help a few people out

Thanks for the guide mate, gave me some good idea's for my lower-league team careers :)

Spellcheck it and it's good to go, good guide thanks

A good guide, but it you should proof read before posting. A lot of spelling errors in there. Still, I appreciate the effort :)

I never thought of signing reserve players from big clubs on free transfers. If they weren't good I didn't bother. Never thought their value would be good.

Just a tip on another place where large prize money is rewarded, that place is the bundesliga as you can receive £11M just for finishing bottom, and £24M 1st, not as much as premier league but who does

That seems to be more than the EPL. In my game, I am getting around $35M for 1st place!
