Hi, me and my friend have been trying for the last few hours to get this game working over LAN so just us two can play together.
We have gone through pretty much every guide possible so i have come to the forum to se if im being stupid and missing something out.
We have set up a Homegroup and both pc's are connected through it. (i know this because we can share each others files etc) we are not connected through wireless at all so the only connection is through our ethernet lan cable.
We have tried the Hamachi program and we can join each others networks with the green light being on but when we come to the join network screen on fm10 and enter the correct hamachi ip address it pauses for 15-20 secs then says unable to connect to server.
So i thought, ok hamachi is being an issue and surly you can play LAN without any external software.
So as said above we have a correct homegroup setup. One PC has the run as server box ticked and has selected his team blah blah and is waiting on the game screen. So this is the point where the other pc should simply press refresh and the first pcs game should pop up in the local servers page.
It does not!
So i have tried multiple IP address in the join another server button but still its pauses for 15-20 secs and then says unable to connect to server.
Can anyone help with this please as i know i must be doing something stupid but i just cant figure it out I appreciate any help
