dont mention it man. I've had numerous PC problems myself and had people help me so I know what it feels like and try to do my best to help others.

Now this may seem like a retarded thing to ask but do you have the game in your disc tray? XD

yeah this happened to me before and i had to wipe all of football manager off my mac :

- uninstall
- delete a files under football manager 2010
- then reinstall

sorry it has to come down to this but thats the only way

I doubt it would be this as I have only had my laptop say 9 months but I do use it a lot so will try this as I getting desperate, thanks.

you can underestimate how much dust a laptop can get clogged up in it's side vents etc, even in only 9 months.

So i finally solved the problem.

I needed to download a patch, which are something I had no knowledge of before today.

The game just loaded for the first time in what feels like a lifetime, all my saved data was deleted but I dont care about my latest game as I am excited about starting again. Although I am ****** at losing my other save which was basically me doing what Alex Ferguson has done but at Sunderland, my records were incredible. Shame.

Oh well starting fresh now so the big question, who to be....
