Transfer Window Opens

With the new season around the corner it's time Rolfe started thinking about possible additions and departures to and from the club.
Rolfe was spotted at many of the 2010 world cup games during the summer which can only suggest he's looking to invest in a couple of starlets from the tournament.

Reading finally sign a pair of full backs as cover

Today Reading open the cheque book to bring in left back David Murphy from Birmingham for a £875,000 fee after a good showing against Reading on the opening day. They have also completed a loan deal for Man United youth right back Ritchie De Laet including a £125,000 loan fee.

At the end of the interview he did state that altough cup runs do bring in some extra funds what good is it if we go back to championship football next season and underlined the league is the main focus.

Can the Royals continue?

Going into October they sit 9th in the table and face a couple of tricky games this month although no Premier League games easy the likes and quality of Tottenham and Aston Villa make things that extra bit tough.

Six goal thriller here at the Britannia with Reading the beneficiary after goals from both wingers and striker sealed the deal.

James Henry was once again on under 21 duty as Scotland win 2-0 over Lithuania and then beat Liechtenstein 3-0 in which he bags himself a goal.

Also on under 21 duty was left back Joe Mattock in England's 4-1 win over Finland.

Simon Church was on full squad duties in a 1-0 lose to Switzerland.

Gylfi Sigurdsson and Brynjar Gunnarsson were both playing for Iceland in wins over Norway 1-0 and Cyprus 2-1 were Sigurdsson scored a goal in both to continue his great start to international football currently standing at 5 goals in 12 appearences.

Reading in a fantastic display against a sluggish Spurs team as Naughton who turned down a move to the Madejski put into his own net to get the game going and the Royals didn't look back from there as they thumped Spurs in the first half scoring 5 with fine attacking football before a defence second half gave them 3 points and a warning to the rest of the league that they are no pushovers.

Cheers mate, I must have something right never started a season like this before well outside of playing with teams like Man Utd, Chelsea, Arsenal, Barca and so on. So i'm well happy, The way it's going european football may come alot quicker then anticipated, Europa League this season???

My main focus this summer is to improve my sloppy defence that conceded 62 goals last season so i've decided to invest whatever money in just defence as my attacking play saw us score a league high 76 goals.
