Sorry i took so long to reply to your post. Mainly its because i just cant get the players playing how i want them too, which i had no problems with on FM10. for example, shorter passing, slow tempo and normal creative freedom. Yet my team continue to hoof it long to my lone striker. Also no matter what frequency you set long shots too, your players seem to constantly try from miles out anyway. Finally the most frustrating thing of all is almost every player on the game, regardless of stats, consitsently missing easy chances or one on ones. Its obviously something i doing/ not doing, because no one else seems to have any problems, but i can hardly enjoy the game when the team seems to ignore their instructions

Me too, not the long shots but everything else. I hope they fix it. It is impossible to play short passing, slow tempo.

Excuse me, guys, but it is possible to play short passing with slow tempo as long as you choose "control" in your starting strategy. I posted about that on last page. So: Starting strategy: Control. Passes: Short. Tempo: Slow. Creative freedom: normal. That's what I do with Barcelona and it works just fine.

Also choose "defender collect" for your goalkeeper so that everything will start from the defense with short passes.

you're not the only one. but the issues should be dealt with in the release day patch, go back a page for the changes coming (im sure there will be more in additon to that, but we will have to wait until the patch release notes)

Players get unhappy to quick about alot of random reasons and the internal chat will not work most times so you may have to sell even your longest and maybe best played players for a simple lets say fine for bad preformace, Training seems more complicated and they don't improve as drastically as they used too in FM2010, Alot of Good players end up free transfers for some reason, Teams cannot support there fee's or whatsoever, Generally its abit more chaotic than other FM's but i think its represents more real life situations. Other than all the above im enjoying my arsenal save, Manager's Get sacked for poor performances much easier this year, and **** PASTORE is a beast :o

One thing I'm hating about the new demo is how unrealistic the match engine is compared to real life. I'm conceding goals where their midfielders run from the halfway line and my defenders just watch them ruin past or keep backing off. Also, plenty of times where the ball is next to my man and he just stays still and watches their guy who was miles away from it, pick the ball up. There also seems to be a silly amount of injuries/knocks per game. Finally, the chances/goal ratio is just stupid. I've watched 3 of my players miss empty nets from not even close to tight angles. I've watched my players miss one-on-one after one-on-one that any average semi-pro footballer would put in the back of the net. It's ridiculous.

That said, I will be picking up from asda at midnight :)

yeah most of these have been looked at for the patch, go back a page on here,i have put at list of changes coming (not those were the nes posted at the time, so its obviously subject to change,so you'd have to wait till the patch release to to know for certain)

I just read the post you made on the last page regarding the ME improvements. They do look like they will improve the game a lot. I was going to persevere with the demo for a bit anyway, and will also have a play on the full version when it is out. cheers for uploading that info by the way
