maybe so yes, good point.

im not planning to use steam though in all fairness,

even though it is new to mac this year, i dont think i will get anything out of using steam, unless someone else can convince me otherwise.

receiving fifa11 early may have been a very lucky blip though, and no doubt will never happen again.

i just dont know what i would prefer £5 less than the rest, or a mouse/ mini football ^^)

can you still not install it with steam? I like steam as it keeps my games up to date and also keeps them all together so I can easily see them all and choose which one I feel like playing.

Ye you don't need steam to play the game, they haven't made steam available to mac users until this years game, so i haven't been able to use it anyway.

i dont quite get what you mean, all my games are in a folder together and when i click load game i can just pick which one i want too oO)

yes but I don't have to have icons filling up my desktop, instead I can go to steam and the majority of the games I play are there. It's nothing really significant, it's just something I like.
 
Just ordered from Shopto, luckly not from the link provided in the OP, as its to the PSP version, so many people are gunna be ****** if they have used that link...

oh right cool, i like my laptop to be tidy etc desktop wise.

With mac's if you don't use them much you don't have a "desktop" the programs you use the most you have on a strip at the bottom, the rest are hidden away in "applications"

and Dunc that will be terrible if someone's actually done that! they may have enough time to swap it for the PC one hopefully <)

i still cant decide where to pre order from, im a good decision maker ^^)
 
That's pretty ridiculous for a game which has such a strong "gaming life". £23 notes for a game which has purposedly an average of over 100 played hours.

Pre ordered from Zavvi...hope it comes on (or before) release date...I've booked a week off work to fully absorb myself into the game
 
Chadmeister, when i ordered F12010 from Zaavi it came on the day it was released :)
 
Pre-Ordered from GAME before i saw this thread, which was unfortunate, anyone have an idea on what day it will come with GAME, i've never pre ordered from there before?

GAME always get the game to my door on the day of release when I pre-order with them.
 
Don't know whether to pre-order off The Hut.

Has anyone ordered off there before? I just want to get it on the day.
 
I've bought FM11 on Steam ready for pre-download at 00:00 on 5th November.
 
Pre ordered from zavvi got email saying be delivered 4th nov hope so cant waiy to play!!!
 
I think its a disaster with Friday release date because the chances are high you have to wait till Monday with post
