Brilliant mate thanks.

The only way to start of in 2013/14 is by holidaying through isn't it, or is there some magic file that has simulated everything that took place last season and lets you start of 2013/14 at the beginning of the game?

Asking this more out of hope than anything else :-P, but would really appreciate if someone has a savegame file that has perfectly set up everything to start of in 2013/14

Samba309 , no mate magic files dont exist the only way in to start in summer 2012 or in scandinavian leagues in february 2013!

I saw now the update, and very good, Porto, Jackson should be an amazing striker like in the true, because every big clube want him but ok, Ghilas from FC Porto should be better, Sebá isn't in Porto now he is on Estoril.
And Farina from racing to Benfica.

Have you considered an update where all transfers are for the future? Therefore making them coincide with real life.

For instance instead of making the transfers for as soon as we start the game 12/13, make them for 13/14

The reason I ask is because when it is done this way, we have basically two sets of recruits the actual 12/13 buys (Dempsey, Adebayor, Sig) and then (13/14) Paulinho etc in one transfer window

The issue is with the current set up, I would want to get rid of some players that signed in real life last summer to make space for the new ones but can't do so as they won't leave. Whereas if it the new recruits were future transfers, I could play a year like in real life with the current squad and then get rid of them at the end of the season.

Just a thought...
 
What's the point of all that? Just imagine you are starting the 2013/2014 season, he already tried how you are saying but it wasn't ok, it's better this way.
 
First off, I wanted to say that I really appreciate the hard work you do to get the updates out. I ran into a problem: when I use the updates with the Official updated roster (13.3.0) my game crashes. It works fine when I use the default rosters, but I'm missing some of the transfers from January (specifically, Lewis Holtby is missing from Tottenham and is still on Schalke). Am I doing something wrong? Anyone else run into this problem? I'm running FM13 on my Macbook pro through Steam. Thanks in advance for any help.

Fair enough but there is still a point. Eg Spurs interested in signing Guarin from Inter this summer. He joined them in 12/13, therefore I can't buy him in FM 12/13 even though IRL it would be possible in 13/14

I have no problems, just stating small issues with this format. However I am grateful for the update so keep up the good work

Running FM13 on my macbook pro through steam too and it keeps crashing when attempting to load a new game. It works fine with the default squads, as soon as I attempt to load a new league with the updated squads it crashes. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
