my data editor files button when i load a new game is greyed out? can i get around this?

this might sound a bit stupid but i downloaded the folder but it where you say but when i looked there is 6 different files do i have to merge the .dbc files with database ? if someone could help that would be great thanks

have you created a an editor data file in yours sports interactive folder?
 
to cyber turtle put the dbc files into your editor data folder.if you havent 1 of those create it in your sports interactive folder then start a new game.
