FM16 Editor Help - Could Not Load File

Earlier, I was doing loads of important editing work for an FM16 English lower leagues that I've been modifying to suit what I want. I wanted to briefly switch to some other editing work, so I reloaded the database as normal. However, since then the original database I was working on will not open in the Editor. Whenever I try to open it, all that comes up is a message saying "Could not load file".

Is there any way to rectify this, as I've put in so much work for this that to lose it and have to start again would be nothing short of an absolute disaster; I've been working on this for a month and a half now, and it would take me at least that long to get anywhere close to where I was up to.
