[FM2016] UEFA Champions League & Europa League - 2 Group Phases *Updated: 28-02-2016*
Firstly I'd like to give a massive thanks to everyone that has helped me get to grips with the editor and enabled me to improve on this over the last few years, I couldn't have gotten this up and running without them being kind enough to answer any questions I had.
I have managed to make some significant improvements to this file, reverting the Champions League back to its 1999-2003 format of 2 group phases, followed by the knockout rounds leading into the final. I have also revamped the Europa League to follow suit, as it helped make the configuration much easier for me when rearranging the teams for each competition etc. This is something I've been working with on and off since FM 2012 and it's just about fully there now in terms of accuracy I think.

I've updated the link for download with the following tweaks:
- 3 Qualifying Rounds for both the Champions League and Europa League now have seeded draws, which will seed by reputation, and teams from the same nation will be kept apart

UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FORMAT
- 3 qualifying rounds, each containing 32 teams (with a new batch of 16 coming in as each round progresses)
- 3rd and 4th placed teams enter at 3rd Qualifying Round for top 4 ranked nations, along with 8 of the next highest seeds
- 16 league winners and runners up will now enter at the First Group Phase, along with the 16 winners of the 3rd Qualifying Round
- 16 teams progress to the Second Group Phase
- Knockout Rounds begin at the Quarter Finals, with 2 legs in the Quarters and Semi Finals
- Matches now divided equally between Tuesday and Wednesday
UEFA EUROPA LEAGUE FORMAT
- 3 qualifying rounds, rounds 1 and 2 containing 16 teams, and round 3 containing 64 teams
- Highest seeds enter at the 3rd Qualifying Round, with 32 winners progressing to the First Group Phase
- 16 teams progress to the Second Group Phase
- Knockout Rounds begin at the Quarter Finals, with 2 legs in the Quarters and Semi Finals
- All matches take place on Thursdays at the same time
- Super Cup is unchanged and remains as you were.
NOTE: I'm still trying to configure an alternative version for those who would prefer to have teams finishing 3rd in the Champions League group phase to drop down into the Europa League 2nd group phase. Any help with this would be brilliant and I'll be sure to add the file to this post if/once I can get this sorted out.
