fm26 is rubbish compared to fm24

Lots of bugs for sure. And UI defo takes some getting used to. But I’m starting to enjoy it now. Apparently a lot of patches coming in the next few days/weeks

I agree with @Moorsey18781 , it's not abut the bugs, but the navigation is more confusing, and they took 2 years to deliver this? Are they serious? Besides removing national management they removed the young squads?

I’ve been playing 20 plus hours now. While there’s a few extra clicks here and there to do stuff on FM26. Bookmarks help. And I’ve gotten use to it now. It’s more about bugs getting sorted for me now

Funny bugs I’ve seen so far. Every player having Mohawks.

Subs coming on and playing in there tracksuits.

Players with serious injuries just walking off and waving to the fans.

Recalled a player I sent out on loan. Then the manager from said club complaining about him getting game time 🤣

Not a fan of the new UI - it's just not intuitive. Yes, bookmarks help and all but I still keep getting lost and / or have to navigate around far too many windows to get to where I want to go. Moreover, I just don't like the layout of various things such as the team selection page on match-day (the team sorting looks chaotic when you clear the squad), match results, transfer news for other clubs, etc

On the ME, definitely a much-needed upgrade but I am still not a fan of the 3D matches, it still doesn't feel remotely natural. I have switched back to the 2D Classic camera angle.

Bugs - I don't really have a problem with any of those as I assume the guys at SI will address them through future updates / fixes

fm26 is rubbish compared to fm24 it is definately a huge step backwards
I disagree, yes there are some things which need fixing, but it's all visual stuff, the actual game itself is really good. once they have pushed out the daily updates and ironed out the small issues, and the coders create some skins, i think this game will be flying.

They might have improved the match engine, but the navigation is rubish, the animations during the game aren't anything special and we now need more modds than before. 2 year of wait for this is just bullshit, their luck is that no other company as decided to step in.

Maybe that's what this game needs, some competition. I do agree that the navigation is poor, but i think once the full game is released, we will see some unofficial skins which will improve the game.

Hope so, i'm not disagreing with you, i'm just mad that we waited 2 years to get this crappy software. As someone that works on iT this makes me turn red.

Forget the Mohawks I thought at one point I had a team of Phil Fodens playing. That plus there were bald players with full heads of hair. These bugs will be sorted hopefully in the meantime we just have a laugh watching them happen.

It's a totally different set up yes it takes some getting use to, yes it's full of bugs but so was the beta for 2024. If you don't like it you don't have to play it simple as that. Personally I'm slowly getting to grips with the menus and finding new stuff every time I play. The challenge is still there if you look beyond just the menu screens.

Side point: Does anyone else think the match sharpness function is a bit funny?

It takes players a rather large amount of time to get to green but players can easily descend into orange / red if they miss one game. It could be a bug or it could be a symptom of my club not playing enough fixtures (no European football and got knocked out of the League Cup and FA Cup early on). Anyone have any thoughts?

Agree mate. I’ve been playing close to 40+ hours now. It was a bit of a big mess but a couple of patches has sorted a lot of that out. And after playing much I’m use to the new UI/Menus etc
