FMH 2011 psp son help!!!

Ok so I got a son right, 5 years ago, but his stats are poor, I got him on intensive training, but nothing has improved, managed to get his potential and ability up, but they revert to the same 3 stars at the start of a new season, any idea why? If I get a defender or a midfielder for a son, he always comes with high stats, but if it's a forward, or a midfielder that can play in s forward postion they absolutely ****, any idea how to fix it? Or why it's happening?

The son normally starts off low but can grow to be amazing if you give him patience (apparently anyway).

Tried it dude, but alas, he is now 24, and you know what that means, all my other players stats improve, except my son.

Personally I do not know one person who has had a son that turns out good. I talk to the maker of the game and he will improve this side of the game for 2012 .
