Fmrte - crashing

I just got my laptop fixed and before it broke it had FMRTE on it and it worked perfectly with the game I had, but now I have just downloaded the real time editor again from the FMRTE website and when I try to load a game it asks what game type I am using so I select the STEAM one patch 2 and it just gets stuck until I click and then it crashes and shuts down. Anyone know why this is?

Seriously though. Download .NET 3.5, and then try other patches, such as boxed, as it doesnt always work when you select the patch manually.
 
ok i just downloaded that and it won't install?
well i double click the installation and it just says do you want to allow this programme to make changes? i click yes and it does nothing?
 
If thats happening, use the system restore, go back to your last restore point, and then try it.
 
just to confirm, where am i supposed to extract the real time editor too?
 
Anywhere, Make a folder, whatever you want. As long as the extracted files stay in the same folder, it will work

Yes it is mate. you mean one that is compatable with the patch 10.3 version?
