All these suggestions about a personal life etc. There all just like Fifa Manager series. People would just say "It's too much like Fifa Manager". I looked at the trailer for Fifa Manager and it looked alot better than FM 2010. But it's just not the same. You can have all these training camps. But nothing beats the old style fm things.

I agree, having that "life" options will make FM looks casual, wich is not good in my book. You wanna buy house, wife, dog and 2.5 childrens? OK, go play Sims 
Thought about this today,
when a club approch you (wise versa) you could add demands (clasules?/promises?) on the contract, for example that the club should improve training facilities (or more money to transfers), and then they could reject/accept/negotiate and so...
and ofcourse that they would promise that they will improve, but wont, and then you get in a fight with the club board
and hopefully have fans by your side

I would say the should add:
-Better detail in game showing great detail in players faces etc.
-Maybe being able to make an avatar for your manager. Such as making one off the game using there hair colour and styles or take a picture and upload it like fifa.

Just add more and more to what is there really,
e.g. add more sideline shouts,
more stadium options (under soil heating...),
improved feedback from scouts, fans & board (fans feel the stadium is falling to bits, dis/like style of play, player fan relationships (adebayor is a prime example)),
more rare details (pitch brawls, court cases, fan riots, protests if things go bad),
prehaps better training reports/advice so we can improve schedules better and track progress,
option to learn languages/pick up laguages working with foriegn players,
more players through the youth academys that are high level,
more PPMs to make certain players feel more like their real selfs,
e.g. add more sideline shouts,

FM is far more realistic...
the main things would be
1) to make an editor where you can edit/make any competition including drafts, international competitions and club cups like the cup winners cup without having to assign them to a nation
2) to make the game more dynamic so we can add nations without errors and we can make nations become fifa members and they will take part in qualifying competitions for the world cup and other international tournaments straight away
3) again with the dynamic to make nations take up fifa membership/ make leagues rise in strength like the russian has recently/ changes in league structure if a small nation becomes bigger/ new clubs created just like they are in real life/ more names for lesser nations/ clubs going bust and no longer existing like accricton did, before starting again at the bottom and making there way back up the levels

1) Easy solution, search how to enable the Germany and Japan teams, and you won't have greyed out players.
5) The game is Football Manager, this has been said countless times, but it kind of defeats the object of the game..being a manager, not an owner, or an architect. How many football managers decide what colour their stadium is going to be? None...
6) That wouldn't be so bad an idea, i would like to be able to do my job for nothing, like Zidane does at Madrid, so that if i'm a poorer club, they don't go bankrupt because of the wage bill, but if you want to put money into your club, just win a lot of stuff, and don't spend too much, and thus keep control of your finances - but i agree with Andy, it would be good to use wages for some useful things.

can't you just chose negotiate when offered a contract and lower your wage right down so you get more wage buget remaining as you're not taking up as much.
