Hey Jesaustralia ... Is there any chance this year to create a tactic like Il Devasto (Satorox) 4-2-2-2 like in FM11 and FM12 ... so a lots of goals from strikers ... My 4-2-4 tweak is same , but there strikers dont score a lot of goals like in Il Devasto 4-2-2-2 ...i had tried many things , but without success ( Wingers and Strikers scores always almost same amount of goals ) ... :) i hope you understand what i said :)

This is really embarrassing - I didn't play any fm between fm06 - fm12 - I started playing fm13 and kept with it several years untill I was talked in to getting fm16.

So all I know right now about ill devasto is its a 424 with lots of back arrows which means run from deep set to rare and in role terms its defend or support

Here's how I interpret that

Gk
FBL defend
FBR defend
CDL defend
CDR defend
CML defend
CMR defend
AML winger support
AMR winger support
SCL poacher/advanced forward or Complete forward attack (maybe)
SCR poacher/advanced forward or Complete forward attack (maybe)

The 3 striker roles I mention can do a really good job in fm16 and even the Trequartista role in striker position can do well - if you can tell me anything about the tactic how it performed and settings etc it would make it easier. I will say one thing though - WWfan complaint to me that the crossing was very poor in fm13 - complaint to me/more like explained to me when I asked him some questions about fm13 - I don't know how crossing was back in fm11/12 - all I know is that fm16 has overpowered crossing - I reckon most people who observe what's happening agree with this. This detail alone can make it impossible for a recreation of old tactics if the crossing behaved badly back then.

Anything you can tell me about ill devasto would be good - mentality creative freedom the strikers how they behaved - like poacher like advanced forward or like something else - something you maybe remember from the player settings.

Right now I'm blind towards this tactic - but maybe we both can get some information on it or if someone in here remember what it did and what kind of settings it used.

Cheers mate

Here are informations about Il Devasto 4-2-2-2

Players Instructions and Team Instructions ( I think its Italian language :) )

4-2-2-2 DEVASTO realoaded - Laboratorio Tattico - FM.it Community - Dal 2006 - Football Manager 2016

ritmo di gioco= slow or quick, slow is for big team while quick is counter attack so is for underdog
ampiezza di gioco= the wide of your play, is you set large maybe you play with wingers for crosses while etc etc
