"Follia" - SATOROX, Extinction76 tons of goal

i usually play my tweaked version, but left this as the default

This tactic is especially good to inflate values of strikers and make profit for small clubs! I sold my first choice strikers during the season, and next in line started scoring straight away :) here's my former 'star' striker now playing somewhere in middle east...

Hehe, I love doing stuff like this, buying bargains and then selling them for tons of money, too bad the chairman doesn't seem to appreciate it that much and send a "few" of them gold coins my way ...:(

depends on the cb pairing you have, i've Kompany and Mangala, only conceeded 2 so far in 4 games, but that was in a 3-2 win over Arsenal.

No idea, leave to my AM.

4th game of the season, Barkley is awesome in the midfield roaming roles, scored in the England Games and here he got 2. Mangala got injured in the last 10 leaving fernandinho at CB, so not too fussed on the clean sheet. Dunno how they ended up with 4 cccs in the stats, highlights never showed them getting that many.

could you share your tweaks?

not much point i tweak the midfield a little bit as needed.

I have silva/toure/nasri or barkley/fernando/fernandinho as the two options really if its the first i'll let nasri and silva play an actal roaming playmaker role (lower closing down, etc) and swap to control lower the tempo to higher at home, play counter/direct a bit more away from home depends who im playing ie, counter bigger teams and steamroll the smaller ones as if at home anyway. same with the two wide forwards on a counter/direct i'll let them on roam from position to allow them to be in the space/channels for counters... still working it out, only 5 games into the season so far.

Anyone find the opposition creating CCC's but not scoring many? just beat benfica 4-1, they created 5 i created 1.

I do slate a lot of tactics here mainly because they are nothing but big club success or clearly the player has been saving just before games and replaying but this is by far the best tactic out there.

Well done. (6)

Used this in my Man Utd save in my 5th season half way through, I had won the league every year with Lokito Guardiola Concept tactic but was struggling in my 5th season in 4th when switching to this. I finished 2nd after a strong finish. I had also had no success in Europe never getting past the QF of the CL either.

During my 6th season with Utd I used this tactic all season and did the treble :).

I then decided to try in the Lower leagues and started off in the Conference North with Hednesford, Media Prediction 4th. I was doing quite well in 5th so in the play off slots but with my players being quite weak I decided to tweak the tactics. I made the outside 2 strikers to Defensive Forward/Support and the central one to Advanced Forward/Attack. I also did as suggested by another user and made both CD to Stopper.

Since then as the screenshot shows I have gone unbeaten and are far more consistent winning 6 and drawing 1. My 3 strikers also seem to be scoring more and the 2 outer forwards help out defensively. I am also looking at toying with the 2 outer midfielders as I don't feel my players are good enough to play RPM and am thinking of changing to maybe BBM to fit in with my less technical players.

Great tactic though, the best I have used so far but like most tactics in the Lower leagues they sometimes need tweaking to your less technical players.

i'm testing some tweaks with everton. 8-|

p.s. Lukaku is a beast, OMG

Has anyone bothered doing a conclusive test with using double stoppers.

Something like playing 5-10 games. Then replaying the same games with 2 stoppers.

Looking at the average player ratings of the two CB's combined (because its a partnership not an individual thing)

CCCs and half chances conceded over the games

Goals conceded over those games.

Good tactic but defensively poor, can't stop letting goals in. 2nd season with Leeds and got a team that should stay up but losing 5-3 to Spurs, 4-2 Chelsea, 5-4 Arsenal.

Scoring isn't a problem just defending is.

It tends to be defending away from home in my opinion.

I would consider trying. The DLP (D) Centre CM being moved back to DM. - Dont change the role or Player instructions.

Trying the WB's moved back into DL/DR again dont change the role or the player instructions

Using these away from home at first would be my suggestion. It wont change much at all but it might make the difference.

After that I would suggest looking at the DC partnership in your team. Maybe 2 DC - D? Or DC - D, DC - C.

I find that at home conceding is nowhere near as much of a problem.

1 Other thing, personally I don't like using the offside trap with an unsymmetrical backline. Additionaly I would never use the offside trap when playing with a defender on COVER. Because it goes against the logic of them sitting deeper.

If you want to use the offside trap play with 2 DC - on Defend or 2 on stopper
