yeh i woz vice versa m8 great results with v1 but not ver2 i finish 4th in the prem with my nott forrest team first season in prem. might go bk to ver2 if your tweak makes it better at the back.

TRANSLATION - I was concurrently trying both tactics available, but had excellent results with version one, but alas not such with version two. I managed the team Nottingham Forest to a 4th place finish in the English Premier League. I may in time revert to version two if your adjustments make the defensive play, a tad more solid old chap.

Tactic worked well for me using Man United but with city was conceding 4s and 5s. Any ideas?

if there is a full back or wing back they mark them otherwise i havent marked. the marking is to try and prevent or at least minimize the full/wing backs bombing down the flanks and overwhelming defense.

with CB they ant actually going to be making runs forward so there would be no point in a striker marking them?

only use strikers to mark full backs or wing backs

this helps prevent the defense being over run by by full back and wing backs runs forward. since adopoting this ive concedded alot less away and against big temas at home.

you still concedd the odd goal but not 3 or 4

I always implement this with a front 3, i think the grid or hough tactic put me on to it a few years ago, if you manage to get an attacking player who doesnt mind the pressing it can be very effective, you start pressing straight away, meaning most of the time the keeper starts to lump it into your middle midfield 3. :)
