The 2 DC are "X" and not one "X" and the other "D"
The 2 MCR and MCL are "Axial center" and not "playmaker"
No Game with off-side

Drops it back to that, as i tend to have players that are essentially inside fowards in the two wide strikers roles, works great for me

Once you go to start match, in the player instructions you can set a player to mark a specific player 1v1.

Best to jump in jsut before your opening team talk.

Sorry to be a pain! When i bring up the player instructions menu (as shown) just before the match i dont have any attacking instructions to change. Do i need to hold my own team talks instead of the assistant so that more options will appear?

No it should be there, once you are in the prematch team talk screen use the tactics drop down at t he top to get to players.

Are you able to attach a screen shot? I have got to the OI screen just before the match, and am hoping to set my DLF's to close down the oppositions FB's.
