Hey, Laffles here.

Been Tinkering with a Wide Diamond I adapted from my Successful Diamond formation.

Its now Evolved into this.

attachment.php

Built on my 'If they don't have the ball they cant score' theory. It aims to dominate the WHOLE GAME, rather than just the possession.

The 3 Key Roles

The DML- The Playmaker
His aim is to dictate the play, make the passes, get the assists, That sort of thing.
He'll need High Attributes in-
Passing
Creativity
Decisions
Teamwork
Concentration
Stamina

This seems like a lot of attributes but I assure you its nescessary.

The DMR- The Ball Winner
Aims to break up play, win the ball high up the pitch, support the AM, hold the ball down.
Needs-
Strength
Tackling
Stamina
Passing
Aggression
Determination

The AM- Trequartista
Drags defenders out of position, scores goals, gets assists, moves into space.
Needs-
Passing
First Touch
Determination
Finishing
Dribbling.

The other positions will all be explained during a match with this ;)

Though this formation is untested, Its predecessor was incredibly succesful for me at Napoli.

Much thanks, Feedback please.

have you played any games with it yet laffles? I'm currently using your other tactic and i was just wondering what your first impressions are?

hey, yeah. it seems good. Does need work though. Hows the other going?

was going pretty well, i started a new game so i could try this tactic though, im trying it with hull

Laffles - I;m still using the V3 of your naples diamond which has me top 20 games in with spurs.

Love the shape of this one but will watch with interest to see how successful it is before I try it....

Would this be more effective by playing straight throu the middle?
