A poor defensive display from blackpool makes sure they lose 5-2 to promotion favourates Middlesbrough. In worse news Hamur Bouazza looks like he could miss 2 months also with a twisted ankle.​

A dismal performance against Sheff Wednesday was much put behind blackpool today with a FA cup 3rd round win against Burnley. Its transfer window time and blackpool have announced the signings off billy jones, nathen clarke, rogerio matias and jose manuel velasquez just to bolster the squad. But no dout the best 2 signings were Steve Gohouri on loan from Wigan and Richard Hughes from Pompey on a tree transfer. Along with danny coid and alex john baptiste their was a bigger player to leave blackpool. Blackpool chairman Carl Oyston accepted a bid from birmingham city for winger hamur bouazza for 2 million pounds, this has angerd Jackson but be sure of more signings.

Blackpool have strenghend their side with right winger zaki from belchatow and the loan signing of fulham striker david elm untill the rest of the season.

A good win against derby, blackpool hope this will turn their form around. their were some good performances from gohouri, zaki and elm. Blackpool reached the quater finals of the league cup and hope to go further in the FA cup they have been drawn in a home tie against everton.​

2 wins on the bounce for Blackpool and 2 in 2 games for David Elm. this kind of form from elm will surely make him a fans favourate soon enough. Blackpool hope they can keep this form up to push theirself back in the playoff positions. In other news Striker Ben Burgess has joined tranmere on a free transfer. And also even though he joined Blackpool this season midfielder Juris Laizans has joined russian side tom tomsk for 30 grand. This is an update of my transfers this season as the january window is now shut, and again still making money. The signing of Striker Steve Morison was slammed by fans, Jackson hopes he can prove the fans wrong.

After a boring 0-0 draw with QPR Blackpool bounced back with an excellent 3-0 win against Leicster City. The fans may of been unhappy with Jackson signing Morison but with performances like this he will surely win them over.​

A brilliant 2nd half comeback at hillsbrough gave blackpool a 2-1 victory to keep their good run going. premiership outfit everton will go on in the fa cup with a tough 2-1 victory at bloomfields. It has also been announced that up and coming Blackpool manager carl jackson will take charge or Algeria on a part time basis, he will look to bring in some new staff and look at new youth talent.​

Blackpool bounce back from a 3-1 defeat to Barnsly with a hard worked 1-0 win against reading. Jackson hopes they can build on this result.

Dropped points at home against Ipswich was all forgotten when Jacksons Blackpool beat West Brom at the Hawthornes. A First half goal from on loan fulham striker David Elm was enough to give them a 1-0 win meaing Blackpool move upto 7th in the Championship.​

Blackpool bounced back after a 1-1 draw with sheff utd with a 1-0 win against relegation strugglers Crystal Palace. Blackpool now stand 6th in the championship and but with a pretty poor goal difference which at the moment stands at +2, Jackson said he is abit concerned about this and will look to solve this problem.

6away points in the last 2 matches for Blackpool has really given them the momentum to break into the playoffs. victorys against Plymouth and Scunthorpe has put Blackpool into 6th with only 5 matches left to play. They have now boosted their goal difference to +6 not brilliant but much better.​
 
What happened to your season mate? Im a pool fan myself, and have enjoyed reading your stroy. Good to see you getting rid of the deadwood like Mcphee, Coid, Martin etc, and signing some much needed fresh faces.

I finished 5th in my first season but missed out, losing in the play offs. Lets hope that doesnt repeat itself next Sat at Wembley

Congrats to Chelsea for both the Prem and the F.A. Cup, was glad to see United knocked off their perch!! Enjoy your trip to Bloomers next season
 
i won the championship in first season ;) only player i bought was richard brodie from york in january, as i disabled the first transfer window
