what will football be like in the future?

imagine you are in the year 2050 or maybe way into the future what do you think football will be like

will players like Rooney manage teams like United?

what sort of technology will be involved?

will every stadium hold 80,000?

how much money will clubs have?

will the 80 million transfer be normal?

Will the top teams stay top?

could a team like Exeter be winning the champions league?

will the premier league still be dominant?

when will a team win a 100 titles?

will football be super advanced?

Answer these questions and think of you own

FC Tesco, a new side formed from the merger of Liverpool and Everton in 2023. they are the richest sports franchise in the world and play in classic red white and blue "Tesco Value" style kits.

Manchester United and Liverpool will have gone bust along with Man City who couldn't cope with the amount of money in the club after being sold. Messi, Ronaldo, Rooney will all have failed as managers. The Premier League will be won by Everton after a massive take over. Wimbledon are back in the Premier League along with Leeds, both are pushing for Champions League places. Arsenal are playing it safe under Sol Campbell, coming a consistent seventh every year for ten years. Newcastle will be a mid table side while Bolton, Portsmouth, Hull and Burnley will all be playing their trade in League One. Tottenham will be everyone's favourites for relegation but continue to defy the odds coming fifth.

The Champions League will be dominated by heavily invested Roma and Everton with Barcelona and Madrid whipping the Europa League. Leeds will surprise everyone, getting to the Semi Finals, but being knocked out by Roma. Roma will win eventually after thrashing Everton.

Nigeria will be the surprise package of World Cups to follow but France will usually come out on top. England will rarely get past the Group stages!

The future's bright. The future's black and white. (H)

I hope FIFA manages to keep all sorts of technology as far from possible from football. Football is a game for humans, refereeing mistakes are a part of the game, without them it would be boring. No football fan or manager could think they're the smartest man around any more.

man u won't have gone bust in the last 3 years they have made over 140million profit

You can never predict the future

Good point

Ahhh we can all dream, i do think that a top four side (hopefully liverpool) will ended up with too much debt and do a 'Leeds'!

Do you think every premier league team will have a 80,000 stadium or do you think the crowds will die off?

maybe you dont have to be at the match maybe theres new tech so u can simulate yourselve to the match or transport in other words, People havve force Fields so no germs and stuff can get to you = Unlimited Life :D , maybe ive ggone off footbal here lol

Also, McDonald's United make their big appearance in the Premier League in 2046, completing Ronald McDonald's world domination.

This move is so big, even Americans start calling 'soccer' football.

will players like Rooney manage teams like United?

Rooney is a bad example, someone like Giggs and Drogba? Yes.

what sort of technology will be involved?

Pitches would be amazing, with computerised watering systems etc.
Football boots will also cost thousands of pounds due to technology going into them.

will every stadium hold 80,000?

I think stadiums will be able to hold 250,000 - 500,000 fans by that time, football is a growing sport in every country, and a huge US stadium would be predicatble.

how much money will clubs have?

I'd say close to the billion mark if you look at how much money is changing.

will the 80 million transfer be normal?

Yes, transfers are going up. Jermaine Beckford would cost 2-4M now but would cost 10-12M in a few decades.

Will the top teams stay top?

Maybe a few will go down that we would consider top teams now, such as if Wayne Rooney retires and United have to bring in a load of young players, could be costly, like Leeds in the 90s.

could a team like Exeter be winning the champions league?

Thats just stupid. Football won't change that much.

will the premier league still be dominant?

Yes, teams such as City will be winning everything (not biased) due to the amount of funding. The team with the most cash will win.

when will a team win a 100 titles?

No team will to be honest, football won't be existing when a team gets close.

will football be super advanced?

Yes, football will normally be broadcast in 3D and perhaps in 4D in special cinemas, like if it was rainy or windy or loud in the atmosphere, you'd be able to feel it at home with special 4D cinema chairs such as the ones you see in theme parks. The whole point of being able to watch football is to make it feel like you are at the game, i'm sure they will take it even further.

Anyway,

I've got one question based on my answer above.

Do you think 4D football will be broadcast?

If none of you have heard or read, it looks as if Liverpools debts will be gone. So stfu bitter, jealous everton fans :)(6)

2030 - 2050 cockfosters will win the champions league consecutivley

P.S. They DO exist
