should I buy iPhone? would love to have this

No way mate.. Not unless you have way too much money to waste. If you want this app then just get a iPod Touch, they are pretty good :)

Got an iPod Touch already but the iTunes in Uganda is **** so I have to wait until tomorrow to get it.

It is exactly like FMH by the way with a few changes (meaning no downloads and multi league feature but preset logos and post-January database).

I think £7 for a game that will probably take plenty of hours from our lifes isn't bad. I think people are just spoiled because of the prices of many apps out there. SI will have quite a few costs (mainly to do with licensing no doubt) and I'm sure that's a reason for not having it cheaper.

Weird how i was searching itunes yesterday (before seeing this on FB) and there was nothing about Football Manager on there (nothing decent anyway).

Would be good to get an app for players showing PA and CA and things like that on the best players in game too.

What a suprise didn't know this was coming out. Nearly bought championship manager the other day for my iPhone but stopped myself at the last minute. I want it now but only got 3G connection so file is to big for download. Will have to wait till I'm back home and on wi fi

i would be good if they updated every transfer window,

Do you guys think that this will update to FM2011 or do you think you wil have to buy it?

its already 16th in the top 25 and top paid sports game and top paid simulation game !! :D

I assume it will be a separate game you will have to purchase again. But even so I can't imagine it being released for another 6 months +

yeah it would be good if it just updated but Championship Manager brought a new game out.

has anyone tried it yet, if yes how good/bad is it?

I'm downloading it now. Going to give it a try at work tonight.

Anyone downloaded it yet? if so what do you think of it?
its 3rd overall in the top paid apps on the app store already and has got 5 star reviews so far.

I like it, very handy but I am a FMH fan. However, many FM fans like it too because of it's convinence.

Is it quite similar to FMH for psp or is it more basic??
i agree it will be good to have because it will be convenient but £7 seems a bit much for a ipod app but i guess if you compare it to price of psp game its quite cheap.:D

also on some reviews it said the transfer budgets were really low and match engine was just text and 2d on replays and transfer updates were pre january. i expect this is because its so new though and they will release a patch to fix it.

I downloaded it last night and although I haven't spent much time on it yet I'm impressed so far.

Don't buy this expecting the same experience as the pc game as you will be disappointed. Buy it for what it is, a cut down version that will give you a quick fix on the move.

In my opinion it's better than the version I had on psp a few years back although I don't know how it compares to current psp versions. And it is way better that the version of championship manager I started out on way back in 1993!!!

Bought Football Manager 10 for the iPod Touch yesterday and it is the best game Ive got on my Ipod (and Ive got about 100.) £7 Isnt a lot considering the other football management games cost about £4 and they arn't a patch on FM 2010. It isnt faultless, for example transfers are always the same (REal Madrid buy Clint Dempsey for around £7 million and Manchester City usually buy Demichelles (sp. the CB from Bayern). You can only manage in one nation each game.
To summarise I would say that it is the best management game on the iPod/iPhone by a considerable distance. It is expectedly "watered down" but still contains a lot of information to make to playable.
