Luke it has new features but is like FMH with less but more if that makes sense ;).

Budgets are based on FM but Chelsea have £7m and it is a post January database. Also the 2D is highlights if you get me so it kicks in at key parts and close shots.

Ok, so I have finally gotten the game. Thought I would start a game as Spurs, and was a bit surprised to get only a £700k budget, but I put that to one side. So knowing the strengths of Spurs I decided to change the formation, but for the life of me I cannot find where to do it. Can anyone help, my team actually cannot score with the current 4-4-2, including a 1-0 friendly defeat to Yeovil, and a 0-0 penalties win against Hartlepool in the League Cup, HELP ME!!!

EDIT: Have figured out how to change the budgets, so they are more realistic, but it only works if starting a new game.

At the main menu click preferences, and then turn Quick Starts to off and start the game. I now have £9.5m with Spurs

I can't figure out how to edit tactics either, I just want to create a simple attacking 4-3-2-1 but it appears there isn't a way to do this. Any advice?

It looks decent, but I recently got four new games and might have to wait a while until I can get it.Looking at the posts on here already,it looks like a good game and will look into getting it.

Have figured out how to change formation.

If you go onto tactics click in the Bottom Right Hand corner of the screen, then formation selection.

Playing with a normal 4-4-2 with direct passing I have started off the season nicely, will post some more screenshots soonish.

Yes, but there is no option to make your own formation, and 4-3-2-1 is not one of the offered options.

Yeah for some reason there is no way to create a custom formation. You have to settle for one of the preset ones.

Just got the game, looking forward to it, though not expecting a lot, starting as Chelsea. Ill give a review soon.

£7m and I managed to win the treble with that and buying three players + one in January on a Bosman ;).

Is it worth a buy?

Yeah I'd say it's worth a punt. It seems a little bit easy so far, (I'm undefeated at the top of the league with Rushden 20 games in), but it's very fun and perfect for being on a bus or some such situation. Also looking at the SI forums, they seem to be taking feedback seriously so I'm hopeful for some updates in the future. If they update the game with the option to edit your own formation and give player instructions i'd say the game would be just about the perfect on the go FM experience.

do you guys reckon i should give it a buy? or just wait and pay the extra for the full experience fm 2011 for pc?

can anyone recommend good players for this? and a good tactic coz none of them seem to work for me unless i go a big club which i dont want to do.

I use a 4-1-2-1-2 with attacking mentality, mixed passing and normal tackling and I'm top of the BSP with Rushden.

Ok, have just finished my first complete season with York in the BSP after starting a challenge from BSP to the Prem with some mates.

Using the starting tactics I managed to win the league with only 1 signing (Alex Moses-Garvey) on a Free, and Richard Brodie scoring over 30 goals upfront.

I really reccomend this game to people now, it offers a less serious approach to FM which is quite enjoyable.
